    • @Niconiconii

      It’s not the same cup of tea for everyone. There’s a reason why VS code lets you toggle on and off the settings to see as you fit. Personally I like how they look so I have them turned on. Neovim’s smooth cursor is way more extreme lol

    In a month I am supposed to demo how to debug PowerShell in VS Code to 1000+ people at my company (many of which are senior to me).
    Any resources you think I should see? Any settings or tips more important than this that I should include?

    • @Niconiconii
      @Niconiconii  2 года назад +3

      I wouldnt say this is an "important" setting per say, just kinda cool aesthetic wise.
      Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with the debugger in VSCode. One cool tool you may be able to utilize is a VSCode macro extension. Tutorial/Demo here: ruclips.net/video/rO8-cgtkZSw/видео.html It allows you to simulate typing out a bunch of code and looks pretty impressive for coding demos if done correctly.
      A few general tips I have for presentation tho
      If it is in person and in a bright room/setting, using light mode can improve readability.
      Use a higher contrast theme especially when you are presenting to make sure everyone is able to read it clearly.
      Make sure text is zoomed in enough for clarity (ctrl +/- for zooming).
      Using word wrap can help with readibility especially if you end up making the code window smaller to display the debugger window
      Hope this helps, and good luck with your presentation!
