I listened to Tamino and finally understood his lyrics. He is a storyteller for sure. She sings beautifully but I only caught parts of the lyrics as she sang them.

Absolutely, if she does not win, i don't know who would deserve it more. So much musicality she put into this performance that goes beyond singing. She felt the song, I was drawn into it

Wow! There could not be a starker difference from the original to this...this absolutely mesmerizing version. This needs to be done in studio and produced for sale without the interruptions from the coaches' buzzers and such. Truly beautiful interpretation.

Aside from the buzzers, the jury is quite decent. They don't talk through it, like you often get.

Louise Charbonnel completely bats it out of the park here. Her ability to use dissonace from the piano and augment with her voice is very unique and impressive! I have not heard another performer like her with this ability. She is incredibly skillful at this and deserves a special place.
You can see that she is so engrossed and immersed in the song, that she is not aware of anyone else around her. Until the end of the song and looks round at the judges, she is in her own world. A truly mesmerising performance.
I have never heard someone with such control over their voice.
Guttural, heart wrenching, emotive and unique. Tori Amos and Kate Bush vibes. Wow. I love how she was so caught up in it that she did not even notice they had turned until the end. She transcends this competition. She is above such things. Only once in a decade does a voice like this come along. I am speechless.
She needs to do a soundtrack for a James Bond movie.
i usually never leave comments on videos but, the way this performance literally had me in such awe. I have never felt and been so engaged in a performance. Her voice is do angelic and holds so much emotion. Let alone get range is amazing. Captivating.

This has slowly become one of my favorite voice performances of all time. The pure beauty of her voice solo at the beginning. The haunting, captivating performance of hearing only her voice and the piano throughout her performance. The lack of sound from the audience and judges. She doesn’t divert her gaze to the judges once during her song. She’s focused on her song. She’s there to sing and play, and she leaves her soul on the stage for all to remember her.

Very interesting to relate Louise's singing to that of Annie Lenox. For me, there is a magical haunting quality to their voices floating separately from the music. At this moment, I cannot think of a better way to express this, but maybe you understand my meaning and can relate?

I have no words to describe how impressive and ethereal this voice is. These expressions. That striking timbre... All melisma coming from the bottom of the heart. Simply one of the best voices I've ever heard, representing an extraordinary song. Amazing. Everything.

What shocks me is her maturity in control of her voice, unlike anything I'm likely to see short of a professional venue. But as soon as the song is over she's back to being a kid, a classy kid. Everybody that says she's going placed, I agree whole heartedly.
A detail shows why she's a real artist: at 3:24 she's done, awakes from the wonderful world she created and looks aside, a bit surprised: oh, you all turned yours chairs! :-)

This is an amazingly haunting performance. I just hope that Vianney will not throw her under the bus like he did to Kay the previous season.
Agree with your concern, 100%. Disappointed that she chose Vianney, as his track record with artists who have such unique and magnificent voices is not stellar.

I saw this audition in a compilation and like the sound of the song, so I searched the original. Well, I felt transported. Almost like a spiritual experience. Fell in love with Tamino's music.

This was a stunning blind audition. Such a different vibe vs the original. Original interpretation and perfect amount of emotion. The imperfections imo just gave it that much more character.

Same here. However, I'm trying to figure out roughly when how many weeks before she will sing again, I assume in a battle, but I don't understand French. I can't even figure out how many weeks of auditions remain. 🤔
@@ibeetellingya5683 I went online and according to the website of the TV channel on which the show airs, the next episodes will air on Sat. Feb 26 and Sun. Feb 27 in the evening (France time obviously). Then again Sat. & Sun. March 5 & 6. Then the last two episodes on the schedule so far are for Sat. & Sun. March 12 & 13. They normally start to upload the content within a day or two. Maybe start checking their page on Sundays/Mondays or subscribe for notices on new content. I hope that’s helpful.

1 of the greatest all time auditions top 10 all time. What a voice every season france seems to have one singer that is a million times better than the rest.
Hauntingly beautiful, a performance to remember and a cut above the rest.
The most interesting voice of this first blind session.
She fully absorbs the score to make her own interpretation. Just hear the original that is sung in a quite different tone.
This performance being a kind close to jazz/lyric, the question is to know if she will perform as well in "pop" area... not sure at all, we have seen in the past many magnificent voices in blind audition failing in the battles.
This delicate voice must in my opinion choose very carefully her repertoire... this is not a voice suitable to go very far in this competition, The Voice focusing on pop music, she must find her own way, pehraps in jazz area, more than in pop music.
