    Sodium breakdown:
    1 jar pepperonis: 2,730 milligrams
1 beef stew pack: 3,600 milligrams
1 Au Jus gravy pack: 3,960 milligrams
1 brown gravy pack: 1,360 milligrams
    Total sodium: 11,650 milligrams
Recommended USDA: no more than 2,300 milligrams. There’s at least 5 days worth of salt in this recipe, not including the beef seasoning or washyoursister sauce he added. I’ve made the Mississippi pot roast using 1 pack of Au Jus and 1 pack of ranch dressing mix (which has 2,160 milligrams of sodium) and just a few pepperoncinis without any juice and it is still very salty even with the largest chuck roast I could find. This recipe has to be saltier than most people can stand.
