Chuck roast has been pretty cheap lately, at least where I live. Can grab one about that size for $10 to $15 at Winn-Dixie (they're usually on sale on weekends) and it makes multiple meals. Very cost efficient.
@@Rynjinivaroh wow, I wish my area was the same lol. That amount of meat would be like 25 to 30 down here. Sadly beef never goes on sale You can get pork shoulder though on sale for like 13 bucks at the minimum, which is great, if boring after a while
Made it. Worst crockpot roast I’ve ever made. Over salted and overly greasy. Seriously who needs a stick of butter in a fatty chuck roast recipe? And the peppers just ruined it entirely.
When I did mine? I did the steak seasoning on the pot roast. Use the peppercini juice, but not the pepper chinies. And I cooked the pot roast without any of the seasoning packets. Didn't need butter. what I did is near the end. I drew out enough of the beef juice. And mixed the au jus to thicken.
I'm gonna tell you something sir.. out of all of the individuals that have food channels on RUclips, you are definitely in the top 10% of delicious, cuisine. OUTSTANDING!!!
As it's mostly going to float on the top, I'm not even sure what the butter is going to add to the flavor. If it's needed at all, I would add maybe half a tablespoon on top after serving a portion into a bowl.

Yep garlic from a jar
😂😂😂

Jar lic😂
I was just about to comment this 😂😂
It makes sense though, the stuff in the jar contains acid to stabilize the color so it is actually different
😂😂😂
I just thought he was mispronouncing garlic, I now see that it was meant as jar lic which is still funny. 😂
😂😂😂😂
"jar-lic" 😂 I have to use that one. 🤣
I knew I heard right when he said jar lick lol
there's a huge debate over whether jarlic tastes anything like garlic. i'm on team "when i can't be bothered it does just fine."
@@greatvaluecorndog it tastes fine but you have to use a little more to get a good flavor.

Aint no way.
beef broth all day
I came to comment the same thing, that's disgusting af, homie probably has lead pipes too.
glad to see you watching the sodium with unsalted butter.
That's why I came to the comments, to see if anyone caught the sodium packets (brown gravy, au jus and stew)
@@UneekSaltyAFWhen I made this it came out good but too salty. I think the pepper juice is what sent it over the top, sodium-wise.
Lol!
Not like the 3 seasoning packets with loads of sodium!

I was worried about all that gravy mix and being salty as hell but the potatoes probably helped with soaking up the salt.
It's a balance. I use them, but I add a lot more veggies to the mix.
"clear sink water" is CRAZY🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 as a Texan thats the most southern shit ever🤣
I prefer shower water when cooking. Stick your measuring cup under the shower head and crack the valve open just a touch.

He already has his own sauce with that name. So. Copyrighted.

I just made a crock pot full, and this was delicious. It's spicy good.

Great Idea! to Save money too. (3 packets alone would probably cost $6 - $8 !!)
I’ve noticed that the pepperoncini juice really overtakes the other flavors so I usually just put about a shot of it in the roast

Unsalted butter after 3 packs of salt. Got it!
Soooooo much salt in those packets and I’m sure his “beef seasoning” was SPG. Remember kids, you can always add, taking away is almost impossible
That rub that he put on it before anything else was loaded with salt also. Better be ready for the meat sweats
yeah i recommend half pack of au jus and half packet of ranch seasoning... when i did full packet of both it was over powering.
