I love how much you laugh at Brewstew. He's just so dang funny and your honest laughter makes me feel like I'm sitting with you watching, and really, things are so much funnier when you're laughing with someone. I just realized that sounds kinda creepy. I just mean, they're funny and that's good.
This channel is what made me get into Brewstew’s videos in the first place, his videos were the only ones that were able to make me laugh out loud in a LONG time.
My mother woke up when they tried to open her skull. Fun times... Also, why do some kids, like me, have so many nose bleeds? At times, I was losing a lot of blood, making me dizzy and causing a huge mess. The best part is that it can be caused by sneezing which also projects a lot of blood across the room onto walls, and the floor...
Environmental factors can cause bleeding. In the early 2000s I lived in a third floor apartment that was drier than a mummy's cooch. Until my mother bought a humidifier I'd get nosebleeds on the daily ... or until I blew my nose so hard it'd burst a blood vessel. That meant standing over a sink for half an hour waiting for a clot to form and stop the drip. ~_~
The last one got me. I'm a dental assistant and have been around a couple of patients coming out of sedation. The most sedation our dentists use is Halcion and it works very well. We had a patient who lived within across the street of our practice. He had an implant placement surgery and the dentist and assistant walked him back home. This guy ended up giving the dentist and assistant a whole tour of his apartment. He came for his post-op check a week later and he had no memory of that. All he remember was sitting down in the chair then the next thing he knew he was back at his apartment with half of his face being numb. Poor guy was pretty embarrassed at what he did but said that is a story that he will be telling his friends and family for years to come. It's a story I will never forget lol.
Happy your doing more Brewstew videos. Hope there’s more in the future. I’ve been watching your vids a lot lately and there actually fun to watch because it’s entertaining and feeding you information on what too and not to do. Even if you already know some of it, your hearing it from a professional which is better. Love your channel man! Surprised your not past 1 million.
Tooth extraction is no joke. I had one back in February of this year. There was no "putting me under". It was local anesthetics and let me tell you...it didn't do anything. It wore off after like 10 minutes, and they kept having to inject me until they said that I had reached the limit and couldn't get any more. It was seriously the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. Two guys cranking away at my molar, for over an hour. Feeling chunks of my maxillary bone being physically ripped out of my head....tears streaming down my face. At some point I just phased out and stared into the ceiling... waiting for it to end. I left the office shaking...and had a breakdown in my car. 0/10 not recommended.
I relate to the flu. Back in 2017, even though I got the the flu shot, I still managed to get it, and it hit me at night and it was so bad, I literally had to camp out IN MY OWN BATHROOM just in case I woke up in my sleep to vomit. It wasn't fun!
Yeah last time I had stomach flu I barely had an appetite all weekend until Sunday night when I puked it all out of my system. Even the 3 meals a day was tough to get through.
Flu be like: Water = Tastes pretty normal, maybe like it was standing out for 5h in a glass Anything else including food = EMOTIONAL DAMAGE (taste_bud.exe has stopped working) I love the taste of blood when I try to eat after not eating for literally 3 days :)
yeah, I woke up during a tooth extraction. I told the surgeon about it at the end, and he checked the charts. Said that I was out the whole time. I recited the conversations that I heard during the surgery, and he shrugged and said "yep you were awake"
In Germany it’s actually common to have your wisdom teeth removed when only under local anaesthesia. I had it done a while ago and it was not much of a problem.
I had to get laughing gas since I don’t handle needles very well (I live in the US, I actually got my wisdom tooth removed through Indian health services And to knock me out would be extra, also unnecessary and harmful due to all the substance abuse)
I had a horrible gastrointestinal flu hybrid when I was 5, the last thing I ate was one of those chocolate oranges. Now, 20 years later, I still can't taste or smell chocolate and orange flavours together without almost throwing up immediately.
While far less intense, I can certainly relate to traumatizing food. Once when I was young, I was eating a Tootsie Roll when its sticky consistency yanked out one of my baby teeth. To this day like 30 years later, I still hate Tootsie Rolls because of that, and even if I do eat one I can't bring myself to actually chew it. I'll just smoosh it between my tongue and palate until it can be swallowed. Even typing this comment, just the thought of chewing on a Tootsie Roll is making my jaw uncomfortable.
At shift change at the hospital a med-surg patient vomited into his pink basin. His nurse walked in and saw all the clumps of bright red in the basin and her body language clearly revealed that in her head she was running through how she was going to manage an upper GI bleed. "Its Jello," I said. Her body language changed instantly. 🤦♀️
