Japanese Boy was one of my favorite dance songs to hear in the early 1980s in Charleston South Carolina downtown on King Street at The Garden and Gun Club. I simply loved the upbeat electronic music of the time. Both gay and straight alike danced to this incredible music mixed with lights and impeccable music mixes! Poppers abound!
The original song is 33 years old this year, and I still listen to it. I don't believe in that nonsense that only new music should be played in the radio, all kind of music should be played, no matter how old it is, which genre it is yada yada yada, you know.

here 2021 anyone else👍👍.what a great song ,from a great time.only 40 yrs ago. the60, 70s and 80s ,as a kid were great carefree happier times.i so miss them.not like the p.c. censored shit times .we are now in.please god .id definately do a deal with god to stay in these great times.permanently.so missed and so loved. so happy and proud,as a kid.to have lived and been ,in these times.a child ,from 1968.😀😀🙂🙂
Beat instrumentation and rhythm are great, but the mix way overpowers Aneka's vocals, which should be the centerpiece. Also, putting an ad in 2/3rd of the way through that stops the song in it's tracks is way cruel, unless you have no control over the timing.
