I've never seen a command prompt looking this good
This was one of my favorite talks at Laracon this year. Great job Jess!
Excellent. Great job, Jess. I was at Laracon but missed this talk, talking in the foyer, and was excited for this video to come out. I heard the excited clapping and was wondering what was happening. Keep up the great work!
I have been working on Symfony for years, and Prompts was the only thing I missed. I'am so glad you did it. Laravel is a best experience I had, I love you
Great talk!
🎉 Looking forward to using this! In particular multi select. I'm always put off by how the existing multi-choice works.
This is why I'm so glad that all those years I refused to give in to everyone telling me I'll have to learn a "real programming language" when I told them I was a PHP dev. Laravel is simply the best, hands down.
This also has a lot to say about Taylor's leadership. Brilliant presentation Jess
08:11 Most people applauded when you said Arrow Keys earlier.
13:34 I stand and applaud for HJKL.
Hell yeah!
Simple and Concise. Awesome Talk!
This is up there as one of my favourite features of Laravel this year. Incredible work, Jess!
That's Incredible Awesome, Good Job Jess And I Wish For You The Best !!
Thanks Alot.
developing a CLI application looks fun now.
In 1994, I owned an HP48GX calculator equipped with an integrated "choose" function that facilitated the creation of selection boxes. I find it perplexing that nearly three decades later, we are still thrilled about being able to perform similar tasks via command line. It's as if we've razed our previous technological accomplishments, only to celebrate rebuilding them.
ANSI takes me back to my days running a BBS in the early 90’s ❤❤❤
Great work. Really got the use case once I saw it being used by Laravel giving new and old developers a better interface for getting work done. ❤
Love the XKCD reference!
This looks absolutely amazing
That's actually impressive
Awesome stuff right there
Its just so amazing...I clapped a thousand times watching the video
Laravel, Savior of PHP🤲
Amazing!!!
This looks sweet! Does anyone know what tool she's using for the presentation?

Amazing
I am a fan since I watch your Laracast video :v
:v Hola! Qué curso tiene ella en Laracasts?
Awesome
How do you comment/uncomment an entire block like that in vi? Is that a custom macro?
haha, nice hunter2 reference @jess :D
🔥🔥🔥
What editor/IDE is that?
what name of cli that use to run ? i tried in windows trerminal not work
Doesn't work in windows cli, she mentioned that towards the end
She said, at the end, that windows command prompt doesn't support this, it falls back to symfony prompts. It works in wsl though.
