The arcs I do consider the greatest would have to be the following: Grand Magic Games (Fairy Tail) Frieza Saga (Dragon Ball Z) Chimera Ant (Hunter x Hunter 2011) Majin Buu Saga (Dragon Ball Z)
The Pain Arc is so well written, with everything done perfectly. The characters are well developed, and the story is at its best. Pain’s cold face with those rods makes him stand out, and the background music with the Pain theme adds so much feeling. The reveal of the Hidden Rain Village with Pain is unforgettable. Every moment in this arc fits together perfectly.

The "Frieza arc" from Dragon Ball Z was my first big anime arc I remember watching. Since then, my favourite arcs are the "Pain arc" from Naruto and the "Return to Shiganshina" arc from Attack on Titan
No matter how much time passes but "Chimera ant arc" will be in my heart it was a rollercoaster of emotions and episode 131 and 135 of HxH are one of the greatest episodes of all time.

While The Band of Seven is my favorite arc in Inuyasha, I have to give a shout-out to the Meido Zangetsuha arc. It gave Sesshomaru the best character development throughout the entire series starting with him visibly mourning Kagura's death, learning how to deal with grief and the limitations of his powers, _helping_ Inuyasha master Tetsuaiga, and eventually surpasing his father's strength and skill to become a great demon in his own right.
Is Jiraya's death considered part of the pain arc? I always thought the arc started right when the grandpa toad makes it to the leaf village and announces his death. Just because the whole Sasuke vs Itachi and Sasuke vs Killer Bee stuff happens after Jiriya's death. Thanks for any input 🙏

As a huge BSD fan I was NOT expecting Guild arc to be here but I am glad you included it here. Though my personal favourite BSD arc is *Hunting Dogs arc* in s4 followed by Vampire Infection outbreak arc in s5 and then Guild arc

I'm not an anime fan but, although i didn't watch it, i expected the Chimera Ant arc to be first because i always hear people say it is the best arc in anime hystory.
My favourite ONE PIECE arc is Water Seven & Ennies Lobby. (Many consider them two different arcs, but they fit together as a single story. The DBZ Frieza arc is the one where the planet is five minutes from blowing up, but those five minutes somehow last seven episodes...
I mean if that's all you remember from the freiza saga you should go back and rewatch. It still holds up to this day and its what solidified me as a real anime fan.
@@thebestfrom3615 minutes, not literally, just Frieza's perception. Plus, the fighting for them is SO fast, we wouldn't be able to keep up, so it's slowed down for us regular humans to watch is one excuse😂 lastly, the original series did indeed purposely long out the show to 1. Make money, and 2. Wait for the latest manga I'm sure.
Water Seven is good. Enies Lobby is mostly shit with a few great moments. A horribly paced arc with unbelievable contrivance, bullshit ass pull power ups and some of the most incompetent villains I've ever seen (although One Piece is filled with those anyway).
13:46 The Character🗿 the Bgm🗿. No arc has Such perfection , the hidden rain village, the pain 1st appearance, the Bgm. And rts better than Marley and wfp is insane also that frieza arc and soul society doesnt belong anywhere to the top 30. And farm arc is honorable mention? Crazy.
Marineford and Vinland Saga’s “Thorkell” Arcs get my praise for being war arcs that felt like wars. Not just action figures being thrown at each other, and people at tables talking about “Strategy” when the strategy is just to Zerg Rush.
idk if it counts as an arc technically, but if it does, the Zero Requiem Arc has to be on the list. The ending of Code Geass will forever be goated and that combined with the epic final battle, Lelouch's final tricks, and the last few plot twists, it should be a slam dunk top 5 imo
Erza's take down of Pandemonium stage in Magic Games in Fairy Tail is the single most badass moment for any female character in all of anime. Yu-Gi-Oh went downhill after the Battle City arc, one of the best all in tournament arcs in anime along with Dark Tournament in Yu Yu Hakusho and all three martial arts competitions in Dragon Ball. Meruem's final moments in HXH is one of the saddest deaths in anime out there, 'Komugi, are you still there?' hits harder and harder as it's repeated. The Frieza vs Goku battle maybe infamous for its length, but Frieza Arc is still one of the best arc of DB franchise and anime. The hype of Frieza, Ginyu Force's evil, to Vegeta turning over a new leaf to the Super Saiyan transformation, everything was epic.
Pain's arc is monumental at it's peak, but sadly it is dragged down a bit by uneven pacing in-between the great moments. For me, the personal favourite from Shippuuden would most likely be the Five Kage-arc, since so much development happens here AND the fight between Sasuke and Danzou takes place at it's end. Granted it is not perfect either, but to see the story finally move beyond just two of the five great countries as well as some truly great fights interspersed between story moments, it definitely deserves its share of praise. On a more personal note, this was around the point were I caught up with the anime after essentially binging through all available content in a matter of months beforehand, so if for no other reason it holds a very special place with me because of that 😂
The Pain Arc is fucking mint. I was glued to the TV, I remember on Hulu they had it an episode behind, I just couldn't wait another week. Then I saw it on some pirate site and I still couldn't wait, started reading manga for the first time.
Marineford should be number 1, greatest anime arc of all time imo. Wano is great, but its best moment hasn't been animated yet (just a couple more weeks), so I would put MF above Wano. The Frieza arc in DBZ is iconic, but nowhere near being the greatest.
The Soul Society Arc from Bleach, the Band of Seven Arc from InuYasha, and last but not least, Battle City Duels Arc from Yu-Gi-Oh are my absolute favourites. Back where I come from which is Canada, those three anime tv shows with those arcs were glory on a Canadian kids tv channel called YTV. Short for Youth Television. Back in the glory days when they were shown both day and night on weekends. Along with other anime tv shows. Rarely a bit of those at around 4 pm when you get back home from school on time in the late afternoons. Just as long as they don’t go way past your bedtime on a school night. Or if any of those were shown on tv at the crack of dawn. But thankfully, those three finally came out on dvd in both seasons and volumes.
I am from Albania and I remember watching Yu-Gi-Oh back when I was in kindergarten in the very same place through the big TV. It aired in a TV channel called Vizion Plus and it was dubbed in english but with albanian subtitles. Problem was I was born in Greece (even though my parents are albanian) and I moved to Albania when I was 3. Even though I understood albanian I still couldn't read the subtitles. The only way for me to speak albanian was to imitate what they said on TV. However that didn't bother me at the time because I still had a blast watching Yu-Gi-Oh. Me and my older brother even had the trading cards like half of my friends in kidnergarten even though I hardly played them because I didn't knew how to play, I mostly looked at them. I also had the Yu-Gi-Oh tazos including the Pokemon tazos and I still have them in my hometown of Tirana. To put it short, everyone on kindergarten including myself loved Yu-Gi-Oh, even my older brother and cousin liked it. Unfortunately I no longer have the trading cards. My cousin used to have them but he no longer has them either. Nonetheless, I still look fondly at Yu-Gi-Oh as a nostalgic throwback just like Dragon Ball, Naruto and Pokemon.
You can have an arc with amazing fights with power and cool animations. But no anime nears York New Arc on how beautiful and dark an arc should be. The fights in HxH is chess match and instant kill type
Mines are waking the dragons, enies lobby, dark tournament src, chimera ant, cell saga, paranormal Liberation war Arc, rescue/arrancar Arc, 4th great ninja war Arc/ pains assault Arc, return to shiganshina Arc, battle city arc, swordsmith village Arc, Majin buu revival Arc
19:39 definitely No. This was like Cartoons fight. Seriously, fuck Wano Arc! It dragged on for about two whole years, had horrible animation and didn't have nearly enough substance to sustain itself. You could feel how forced the whole thing was with every new episode. Kaido's a decent villain at best, he's just a very strong evil guy. Big Mom had so much more potential with her backstory and her much more interesting skills, but they forced her to play second fiddle, a huge blunder by Oda in my opinion. It's among the worst One Piece has to offer. The best was Water Seven and Enies Lobby. Marineford was super important to the plot, but it wasn't actually as good or captivating, despite Ace's death, yes, I mean it.
Entertainment District arc of Demon Slayer, Paranormal Liberation War Arc of My Hero Academia, Pain's Assault Atc of Naruto, Soul Society Arc of Bleach Wano Arc of One Piece, and Frieza Arc of Dragon Ball is awesome
Shibuya incident (jjk), infinity castle (demon slayer), Baki vs yujiro (Baki hanma), gun devil and control devil arcs (chainsaw man), and the egghead arc (one piece) are all going to be excellent, not to mention part 7 of jjba, specifically the world of Stars and Stripes arc

even as an AOT hater this is indisputable fax, only have it behind chimera ant
@@TheBBCSlurpee You are not an aot haters that means.
@@RatnaRoy-sm9br i love aot but there is no way return to shingashina is better than coalition arc
Cell Saga>Frieza Saga
The Cell saga was the peak of dragon ball in general
True but the Frieza saga introduced one of the most important and influential transformations in anime history
I dont think so soyboy.
@@omega.ak1that is a fact.
@@omega.ak1I agree with you.
shogan assassination arc not being top 5 let alone top 10 is a crime
Kaiba is so iconic when using obelisk 😎😎😎
The Pain Arc is so well written, with everything done perfectly. The characters are well developed, and the story is at its best. Pain’s cold face with those rods makes him stand out, and the background music with the Pain theme adds so much feeling. The reveal of the Hidden Rain Village with Pain is unforgettable. Every moment in this arc fits together perfectly.
Each great anime arc after another is like an epic adventure. 😆🤩❤️❤️❤️
Yes it is ! 😁
Putting the farm arc from Vinland as an honourable mention is outrageous
On god
pain assault, marineford, return to shiganshina, namek saga, golden age arc and shogun assassination my all time fav arcs
I'm not an anime fan but, although i didn't watch it, i expected the Chimera Ant arc to be first because i always hear people say it is the best arc in anime hystory.
It’s top 5
best arc in anime history prob soul society
@@thebestfrom361you're right, it is great.
@@CragusMaximusTrue, but you could check out the Kai version, it may be shorten the fights, but the voice acting and dialogue is great too.
Water Seven is good. Enies Lobby is mostly shit with a few great moments. A horribly paced arc with unbelievable contrivance, bullshit ass pull power ups and some of the most incompetent villains I've ever seen (although One Piece is filled with those anyway).
I love all your anime uploads daily 😁 pls keep it up
I know people like to hate Demon slayer but entertainment district arc was one of the best arc's/season's i ever watched
Meruem is my goat protagonist period. This arc gave me everything i wanted
Villain. Kiddo, he îs a villain, don't be în denial
13:46 The Character🗿 the Bgm🗿. No arc has Such perfection , the hidden rain village, the pain 1st appearance, the Bgm. All suiting so wellThe Pain Arc is so well written, with everything done perfectly. The characters are well developed, and the story is at its best. Pain’s cold face with those rods makes him stand out, and the background music with the Pain theme adds so much feeling. The reveal of the Hidden Rain Village with Pain is unforgettable. Every moment in this arc fits together perfectly.
Shogun assassination at 11 is beyond crazy to me😭
And rts better than Marley and wfp is insane also that frieza arc and soul society doesnt belong anywhere to the top 30. And farm arc is honorable mention? Crazy.
I have trouble believing it's below battle city. It should be at least in the top 5.
Top Ten Best Filler Arcs in Anime
Now THAT would be interesting to see.
Here are some exembles.
Kakashi’s Anbu arc: Naruto Shippuden.
The gotei 13 invasion arc: Bleach.
Key of the starry sky arc: Fairy tail.
G8
i am so happy to see the band of the seven arc is on this list this arc was fantastic 🎉
17:07 WTH??? Phantom Troup Arc Was Peak!!!!
On a more personal note, this was around the point were I caught up with the anime after essentially binging through all available content in a matter of months beforehand, so if for no other reason it holds a very special place with me because of that 😂
Shogun assassination too low but other than that its a huge W.🔥
The Pain Arc is fucking mint. I was glued to the TV, I remember on Hulu they had it an episode behind, I just couldn't wait another week.
Then I saw it on some pirate site and I still couldn't wait, started reading manga for the first time.
Ash should be in more videos his voice is so naturally calming
Marineford should be number 1, greatest anime arc of all time imo. Wano is great, but its best moment hasn't been animated yet (just a couple more weeks), so I would put MF above Wano. The Frieza arc in DBZ is iconic, but nowhere near being the greatest.
the golden age arc is superior my friend though i admit that i cried for luffy 😂
Makoto Shishio's Arc from the GOAT. Rurouni Kenshin
@@arilumani6194Good news pal. I subscribed to your RUclips channel.
Sasuke retrieval arc is what turned boys into men, so memorable
Also, the "children's card game" joke stopped being funny after the 300th time
3:51 inuyasha vs bankotsu
As a Naruto fan, I feel Chunin exams arc, Sasuke retrieval arc and Akatsuki suppression arc should all come before any of the 15-20 arcs
You can have an arc with amazing fights with power and cool animations. But no anime nears York New Arc on how beautiful and dark an arc should be. The fights in HxH is chess match and instant kill type
that lights out scene bro 🔥
Mines are waking the dragons, enies lobby, dark tournament src, chimera ant, cell saga, paranormal Liberation war Arc, rescue/arrancar Arc, 4th great ninja war Arc/ pains assault Arc, return to shiganshina Arc, battle city arc, swordsmith village Arc, Majin buu revival Arc
Shogun Assassination Arc deserves to be higher
Elf Reincarnation Arc + Black Catcher = Masterpiece
13:41 To think one of the greatest arcs in anime as well as one of Naruto's best which considered peak Shippuden doesn't even have Sasuke on it.
Chimera Ants Annihilation Arc 😢 💯
Surprising to see no FMAB on this list since you guys always place it on your number 1 anime of all time.
19:39 definitely No. This was like Cartoons fight.
What about a list of the most underrated arcs in anime too?
The Grand Magic Games is one of my favorite Fairy Tail arcs. Possibly top along with Tartaros.
There was only 6 anime on this list that I have heard of and seen the episodes Yu-Gi-Oh,naruto shippuden, one piece, bleach, attack on titan and dragon ball z.
Now here is the rest of the anime that I have heard of and seen the episodes dragon ball GT,dragon ball super, naruto, boruto, samurai 7,soul eater,Deadman wonderland and fire force.

4:57 In the words of Madara Uchiha: “This is entertaining!”
The whole video I kept saying Frieza saga better be on here. Happy to see it at number 1 as it should be!
I agree with you, I'm happy that it's #1, it's the best arc of Dragon Ball Z ! 😍
we all know soul society is number 1, that arc spawned more nephews than the simpsons
Ever watched Monster?
Ruhenhiem arc is the best
Haven’t watched yet, but the Dark Tournament from Yu Yu Hakusho better be on here
My list:
1) Cell Arc (Dragon Ball Z)
2) The Dark Tournament Arc (Yu Yu Hakusho)
3) Marineford Arc (One Piece)
4) Pains Assault Arc (Naruto Shippuden)
5) Golden Wind (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
6) Farm Arc (Vinland Saga)
7) Chimera Ant Arc (Hunter x Hunter)
8) Return to Shiganshina Arc (Attack on Titan)
9) Shogun Assassination (Gintama)
10) Golden Age Arc (Berserk) (if I were a little more faithful to the manga it be top 5 or 3)
11) Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa (Haikyuu!)
12) The Entertainment District Arc (Demon Slayer)
13) Cannibalism Arc (Bungou Stray Dogs)
14) Death Row Inmates Arc (Baki) (but the Pickle Arc is coming soon and it will be higher)

I can't think of more right now.
They're good too.
1. Silver Soul/Silver Soul Aftermath
2. Thousand Year Blood War
3. Farewell Shinsengumi
4. Chimera Ant
5. Marineford
6. Shogun Assassination
7. Itachi Pursuit/Jiraya/FBBB/Pain
8. Golden Age
9. Farmland(Vinland
10. Wano

Gintama arcs are underrated
W opinion
You know what would make an awesome list?
The top anime antagonists that redeemed themselves in death.
3:42 “Are you sure about that?” John Cena
Inuyasha the Band of Seven arc is my most favorite especially the leader Bankotsu
👏👏👏👏👏
Right you are ! ☺️
When shibuya arc gets animated it will only be below golden age and farmland saga and shibuya claps any shonen arc till date it has everything
The fact that The Battle of the 12 Temples is not here is insulting
Still to this day, Rurouni Kenshin is still my all time favourite Samurai anime.
The battle city arc is LEGENDARY!!!!
Marin ford (one piece)
Chunin exam(Naruto)
Enies lobby arc (i want to live one piece)
Arlong Park
Man... Now I'll have to watch Berserk again 😅🥰
Sasuke retrieval arc >>>>>>>
Thank you for adding golden age arc thanks a lot 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Dark Tournament Arc better be on here!
It is on the list.
Thank you for putting the battle city arc
Honorable mentions:
B rank wars- world trigger
Grand magic games-fairy tail
Sisters-To Aru Index/ Railgun
I don't want to be a burden, but... the Grand Magic Games was already mentioned in the video.
@@devingiles6597 …. Forgot my bad
Js the frieza and cell arcs should get a spot
Shibuya incident (jjk), infinity castle (demon slayer), Baki vs yujiro (Baki hanma), gun devil and control devil arcs (chainsaw man), and the egghead arc (one piece) are all going to be excellent, not to mention part 7 of jjba, specifically the world of Stars and Stripes arc
