    I just picked up my 2019 Can-Am Maverick Sport 60" 100hp DPS. I haven't even taken it out on a ride yet. Your reviews helped me make the decision! Thank you! It is yellow - just like this one!

    The lock/unlock rear differential switch is missing if this is the DPS model? Does it still have the rapid lock system for the front? Softening the rear sway bar was a very good idea. I took mine off for rock crawling and it was way too stiff.

    Very interested to know how it compares to a new rzr 900s
    About to buy a new one and stuck between this and the rzr.
    Suspension is everything to me. So would love to know how it does.

    I was just at the dealership yesterday looking at the Sport and the Commander; same engine, same width, same price... what's the difference? Suspension a little different? Nets vrs doors, and a dumping box where the only stand out differences I could see.

      Can-Am vs. Can-Am? Interesting. The company's really diversified the Maverick line. Might be an interesting segment.

    Tires look smaller than the Polaris xp 1000

    • @hammerheartdan6311
      @hammerheartdan6311 6 лет назад

      Matt Lopez The XP1000 is a pure sport SxS, the Maverick sport competes with the RZR 900 and 1000s (both can am and Polaris has a 75hp and 100hp "trim")

    • @82mattlopez
      @82mattlopez 6 лет назад

      @@hammerheartdan6311 if the x3 is the xp competition then it's much more expensive. I see your comparison

    • @tomdawson4134
      @tomdawson4134 6 лет назад +1

      Dan the only "Pure Sport" SxS is the Yamaha... They claimed that title with their YXZ lol, plus you can't compare the outdated 1000XP against the X3, until Polaris comes out with something that compares then there will be a good battle.. I feel Textron will be coming out with some serious toys in the near future

    • @hammerheartdan6311
      @hammerheartdan6311 6 лет назад

      Tom Dawson A pure sport SxS is something you're going to take to the dunes on a weekend and then jump it after work on weekdays. Not once have I mentioned the X3. I wasn't comparing apples and oranges here...call it what you will, it is what it is. And yes, Polaris did come out with something comparable to the X3 called the Turbo S, still sits high like a regular RZR XP but has all the suspension of the X3 and 4 ponies less. The SXSblog guys have compared both all the time.

    I wouldn't buy another one, nowhere to put shit and I HATE THE DESS KEY !
    I had to get it reprogrammed, if I was stuck in the woods 40 miles in this would have been a disaster.
    Polaris has too many issues they still can't work through, I have a Talon in mind as a hopeful candidate to break the curse on reliability in the S x S world,
    it's time our hard earned $$$ worked for us supporting these guru's.

    • @hammerheartdan6311
      @hammerheartdan6311 6 лет назад +5

      $20k + for a SxS nowadays is ridiculous, unless there are good incentives and a low interest rate. Even then it sits in your garage 85% of the time with no time to use it.

    • @54warrior
      @54warrior 6 лет назад +2

      Exactly. I paid $19k for a brand new Nissan Altima that I have 20,000 miles on already. Drive it every day. Cannot justify that much money for a "Toy"
