Down the memory lane. That nostalgic feeling when I remember my late Papa who would always tune in to 'idhaa ya Kiswahili' and this song would play not once, not twice..... The days of the likes of Omuga Kabisaye, Jacob William Maunda... All late.
This song is a blessing. Used to calm me very well in the evenings after a tiring day at work doing farm work from 7am to 6pm. It still does. I could listen to this among other such songs on a small transistor radio on KBC Radio Taifa. The quality of sound did not matter at all. May your generations be blessed, Les Mangelepa
Times we pass brother, God is caring, all the same, here we are. Life is full of struggles but we still enjoy it. May the spirits of our parents rest in peace!
Do you remember a bar in Nakuru in the 90s ,used to go by the name wayside bar. That was back in early 90s to mid 96 to be exact , they used to play there alongside bands like maroon commandos, and late wilson peter kinyonga..those were the days.
Safi safi saaafiii kabisa,,,hebu skia hiyo "kibuchi", , ,,moto sana,,,nostalgic of high level, I remember Jacob William Maunda, he was fond of playing this song,,those damn days
Interesting that I was asking my mum a short while ago, if she remembers a former KCB radio presenter who would give "matangazo ya vifo" in a deep voice. Then I scroll and see your comment
