I always regretted not being a good man..we talk now , but it's to late... guess I put the bottle to my liver and pulled the trigger.....so, if you need to make amends , do it now .. before that bullet hits home

I was still in the Navy and had just come back from a 9 month deployment overseas, and I figure it was me being away and her death that caused him to lose the will to live and join her in eternal peace. I've never been the same man since he passed, and I've never felt whole since that day I got the news.

This is the hardest thing I've ever dealt with and I am not doing good. I miss her but yet I am relieved she is gone. I use to go to work and worry everyday if the kids were safe or if that next drink was gonna be her last. I really want to move forward but there will always be a thought in the back of my head that I'll come home to her drunk one day.
