Thank you Armin for reviw of this bow! As a humble part of the team behind this bow model i am very happy that you liked it. 🙂🙏🤝
You guys did a great job. I absolutely love this bow.
@@gizmonomono I love this bow too and still my patrons want to have it.. :(
@@ArminHirmer Did you get to keep it?
@@ambidextrousarchery nope, I made a patron happy :) one day I will order one for me for sure
@@ArminHirmer How fast was this bow? I can't find your review.
That face when Armin shoots a well made bow 😮😯😲 followed by an "oOOo"
I feel that your quote of "This bow is simply... Wow!" kind of says it all.
the layers of different wood, so beautiful
Wow Armin that bow is another great option for happy archery training. Looks very beautiful. 🤩🤪👍
I had a chance to get one of these little bows right after they got started with their partnership on it. I wish I would have now. I like how it blends the old Turkish with the modern American Recurve.
Your product close up shot are GOLD!!
My God, I love this bow. This is for me in the same range as the Kheshig. Out of all the patreon bows, I finally feel like this is the one for me 😁 I hope I get it 😁
He speaks about his bows like Ollivander speaks about wands in Harry Potter. I love it. Makes me want to get some more bows.
Never watched Happy Potter but I guess it’s a good thing hahaha
I've been waiting for this review since I first saw it last year on Mihai's Facebook page and I wasn't disappointed. Beautiful bow, professional review, it answered all of my questions.
A neat and comprehensive review of an outstanding bow! Amazing bow in every way.
Another bow that I was thinking about and was hesitant. Now just need to explain my wife why I need another expensive bow :) Thank you for this review, exactly what I was looking for.
Wouldn't have expected anything else from this beauty! Gj, Jarkko and props to Marko and Mihai for their insight.
Thank you! 😊
Bee-You-Tee-Full! Thank you for sharing Armin. God Bless! 🏹👍
A masterpiece of a bow. I hope the one who is getting it, can appreciate it to its full extent. Unfortunately, my arm span is too much for all those beautiful Bows.
This bow shows how much thought and practical engineering and experience went into it. Fast and flat shooting for 35# bow. Very efficient, very nice bow. Has the elegance a good design always seems to have.
Never know what you will come across watching older reviews, very very interesting, very very nice looking, nice sounding and performing bow the asymmetric design is interesting too, .
And by the way,, the speed of this bow for the draw weight is phenomenal. Very efficient
I've shot three bows from J Kaunismäki and loved every one. Incredible craftmanship.
Going back to my previous comment with the ILF Reaper ow, this one might actually be the closest thing to a recurve I'd try and shoot. The bow looks ver well made and shooting seems a breeze. Thx, as always, for the review!
I am really impressed with this bow. Compact and very fast. What more could anyone ask? And as you mentioned that it is available as a take down makes it even better.
Too bad the website is impossible to negotiate. Especially for people like me that am only fluent in American English.
Looks like a solid bow for kids, teens, that an archery family wants to start off with.
Pretty bow and beautiful curves. And a performer at 31" of draw. There base model is as good as most customs from what I can see. Kudos to the bowyer and the knowledge of two master archers how can you go wrong! Thanks for another great review my friend!
Thank you!
@@Trophybow1 no prob my friend shoot straight!
I went to lukio (high school) with Marko Suhonen. Both of us ride horses and shoot traditional archery and he has been telling me I need to get one of these since they first came out. I am really glad you reviewed this bow. I have been wondering what you would think of it.
There you go Andy 😊👍. Greetings my friend.
@@Trophybow1 Hey Marko! I finally got to see somebody shoot the J-Bow LA over a chrono like we talked about. I just came back inside from working with that Lusitano gelding I talked with you about last year and saw your comment. Looks like Armin likes the bow just as much as you do. I suppose I am going to need to break down and buy one of these like you have been telling me I should :) How long does it take for him to make and send the bow once someone orders one?
@@AndyTheCornbread Yes. Actually i knew Armin was interested to make video about it and i knew he will crono it. But it was ment to be secret so i didn't tell before it came true. And yes i am sure you would love the bow too. The time depends on what details and pounds you want. He makes practically all bows like custom bows. One at the time. These "stock" type bows are between 25-35 and he are now making several of them to be ready soon But if you wish more pounds and details and sharp on your own draw, i suggest you to contact Jarkko and ask. I believe it is few weeks. At the moment you find best info from his Facebook. But web pages are also under updating.
Wow that Living arrow bow is magnificent 🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great review and that's a fast bow. He does make fast bows. The handle is interesting... would wanna try a handle like it before knocking it
We all gotta chip in and get you a horse.
Prettttty little bow.
Thanks for this delightful review.
Another great review video, Armin.👍😎🇨🇦🏹.. just watching you unwrap it was entertainment 😆
So many gorgeous bows out there, so many archery ranges shut down because of covid... I miss the days when I could shoot at targets other than pieces of paper 10 m away in my back yard.
I was curious do you have a video with a closeup slow motion view of the effects of arrow flight when applying khatra?
That is really a great looking bow. It looks like it shoots really nice and sounds great 👍🏼👍🏼🏹🇺🇸
Very high performance, even at a low draw weight. Impressive
Amazing little and tiny bow!!!!
I want that bow! Great tree stand bow
I would love a longer (draw) version of this.
Wow. A top performing bow! Nice review.
Get the take-down version!
Would be great to see a comparison between this one and the J-Bow Crazy Horse.
Sweet bow, I've always liked the look of recurves (the more curve the better). I clicked on the two J-Bow links you provided, it's featured on their FB page, but not on their Web Page.
A bit off topic. This bow's name reminded me of a 1981 "Fantasy" tv movie (that hinted a future series) named "The Archer and the Sorceress" or "The Archer: Fugitive from the Empire". I was 17 years old when I saw it when it aired on tv back then and really liked it and had been waiting for a tv or movie series ever sense (just like I have with the Star Wars franchise, that is until Disney screwed it up), but they never have as far as I know. But I was wondering if you've seen (or remember seeing) it, and what you thought about the bow 😀
About the bow not being on his web page: I asked him about this a while back and he said it is because he is working on getting a new site up and going and he doesn't want to spend a bunch of time updating the old site only to change to the new site shortly afterward. So he puts it on his facebook page and once his new site gets up and going it will be there too.
It’s incredibly beautiful 🤩
Hello, Armin! What do you think, is this as smooth as a Mariner? This could be a topic for another video: top 10 draw experience/shooting experience bows. 😁
Yeah I am working on my top 10 video
@@ArminHirmer Great! Thanks
I really love these bows is this bow asymmetrical? It appears to me the bottom limb is bending different than the top limb. Maybe you mentioned it and I missed it, lets face it Armin, sometimes you mumble a little :)
yes it is. I am from Bavaria, we all mumble :D
Beautiful Bow
Though, I can't find the Living Arrow Bow by J-Bow on the website. When viewing via the Google website Translate are all pages visible?
try Facebook
You do 3D shooting aswell?
Would you like to do a video on that?
I'd love to see thumbraw/khatra on 3D course video
Once I am in Austria I will. In Malta is no 3D parkour
Hi Armin I ask myself a question today . How many lbs were bow of ancient time ? Because in series like Viking and all this, we can see arrow’s going trough guys like if it was butter but I don’t think we can do this with 35-45 lbs bow. So I see some historical proof that English long bow were between 150-200 lbs which for me is near to impossible to shoot but ok ... and i found nothing about nomad bow. Do you have an idea ?
depends. on horse they say around 80#, on foot 120-150.. some ay up to 200#
Sebastian
P.S. I also understand an english answer.
Danke. Bei Drachengrube in D gibts den Twinbow von Kovacz. Gibts auch ein Video
silent one ! nice bow and in takedown version it will be perfect .
It is beautiful indeed, those tiny beautiful siyahs... awwww. But even more than that, I agree with what Armin said, perfect in size and performance for the new season of 3D parcouring! (or horseback of course, but who can afford horses!)
Dayum, I would buy this bow some day
Me too
That's a pretty bow
Beautiful 👏🇮🇪
i really like the vidéo of "trophybow1" about this bow by the way, very impressive Living Arrow vs J-Bow Living Arrow (English version) - RUclips and éducative too 👍 armin already knew it (i guess) but for those who don't ... enjoy
Nice split screen section!
Hehe one needs to use his equipment to its max :)
@@ArminHirmer 😂
Great bow for home defence.. I have a Samick Mind 50 60 lbs..
I think we should have a discussion on the morality of shooting living arrows
go ahead ! i am interested now
I am listening...
And another one to the wishlist..
Hehe 😅
It been while i heard solid thud sound
well thats exactly what i want to build once its nice outside xD
They should pack it with local newspapers ;)
The beauty of perfection...
No handshock because light limb tips with no syhia and a bigger , heavier handle .
Thanks
Красивый, быстрый и удобный лук.
Hi guys. Can anyone give me a tip, where I can find good carbon shafts with 35 inches? For my Yarha. I have only 4 of my 12 from Alibow left. And my bamboo arrows break easily.
Nijora.de
@@ArminHirmer Super Danke! Die haben sogar extra schwere Schäfte :D
Cześć, spoko fajny ten łuk : )
Pozdrawiam serdecznie
I na razie
I am from Turkey
I am not from Turkey ;- )
Way to expensive in my opinion. 640€ for a 35# laminated bow? 🤨
Worth it
@@ArminHirmer You're the expert 😁
But for this price, I'd rather buy a Nawalny or Şimşek 🤷♂️
€640 for a bow that only draws 30” above 50#. LOL.
Yupp and fully worth it :) depending of course what you want it for
I love beautiful and functional bows but I got a guy locally who literally destroys all bows within few months or weeks as he draws 35” effortless everything I saw in his hands. Since my draw length with thumb ring is 32” I’m afraid of shooting anything that does not allow beyond 30”. Too expensive :D Recently I bought a 50# Sarmatian from Jackal just because it allows to draw beyond 34”.
Of course if you you want to draw more, this bow is nothing :)
Armin Hirmer I can see how this bow is great on a horse when you don’t draw very long. I think it does require a bit more skills than I got, to be able to shoot accurately and precisely below your comfortable draw length.
