    I started covering my guitar bodies in velcro years ago and sticking my effects pedals onto the guitar....there were.lots if noise issues and the guitars became very heavy to play but no pedalboard was needed .... Nice to see an evolution from my idea😉

      There was a band here in Australian in the 90s called Spiderbait…the guitarist had a guitar with a few pedals that were attached with Velcro…

    I can see some great uses for this. The sounds seems decent enough to be useable- I have Flamma FS06 preamp pedal and it sounds good, so it looks like they are an up and coming company to watch.

    Cort had a guitar in the 80s with a bunch of built in effects called the Effector.

    Would be better as a plug for any guitar and then a wireless floor switcher

    When you list the specs, it'd be nice To say the price also.

    • @TSFAHTPS
      @TSFAHTPS  6 месяцев назад +1

      The price varies quite a bit from country to country which always makes it difficult to talk about price but I’m pretty sure we mentioned a few times that it’s listed as $399 on the Flamma Website

    Gibson thought the future was "intelligent" tuners 😅. Look what happened there .

    • @TSFAHTPS
      @TSFAHTPS  4 месяца назад

      That’s two very different things in my opinion! This is a budget guitar with built in stuff so you can practice at home without the need for anything else…just plug your headphones in and off you go!

      @TSFAHTPS You're right. It's not quite the same thing. I was just making a joke at the expense of a big greedy corporation.

  • @BeesWaxMinder

    It doesn't sound anything special (it doesn't really need to I suppose) and the effects are likely stuff that people will have anyway but, if it means anything, I really like the look of it!

    • @TSFAHTPS
      @TSFAHTPS  7 месяцев назад

      It just means you can plug headphones straight into the guitar with all the effects and a looper and a drum machine and amp simulation all built into the guitar…I think it’s a great practice tool and it beginners guitar!!

    Good for practice but not live use

    • @TSFAHTPS
      @TSFAHTPS  7 месяцев назад +2

      It’s more about the concept of putting everything you need inside the guitar…just rock up to a gig with your guitar and go wirelessly into the PA with all your amp sounds and effects built in!! This guitar is great for a $399 practice tool…but it’s showing that this is something that is getting possible and it actually sounds really quite good!!

    LOL- The comment section never fails to disappoint huh? What a bunch of idiots. Anyway- this guitar blows me away- not because it sounds amazing or anything like that- it's because this proves a concept that has been on the horizon for a very, very long time- being able to connect your guitar D.I and actually sound good. I knew when I saw modelers starting to become popular that the technology would lead to this eventually- this is something ppl have wanted and talked about since the 70s. A few companies tried it in the 80s but, the technology just wasn't there yet. Plus, they tried to put the amp in the guitar as well- not smart. But back then hardly anyone had a powered cab so- they felt they had to stick a small solid-state amp in it. Then, since you've already got everything else- someone suggested putting a small speaker in it as well, so they did. I can't even remember who made them but, they sucked. But now- everyone has a powered cab already so- all you need to do is stick a preamp in the guitar w/fx and cab sim. In other words- put a modeler in there. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this becomes the new thing and eventually- the norm.

    • @TSFAHTPS
      @TSFAHTPS  7 месяцев назад +1

      That’s exactly what I meant about “is this the future”…it’s the concept…not this particular guitar…thanks for actually getting what I meant!! Yeah everything you said…technology is getting so good that this is now actually starting to be possible…even with built in wireless…not even cables are needed anymore!!

    Smart? Well, the soul of Stu's 193_? Dobro will be lacking. Something has to be said for wood and aging, especially concerning resonance and harmonics.

    Think the effects are better off in a pedal type device. Who wants to be locked into 1 guitar? Then when Bluetooth or the App goes obsolete that guitar goes in the garbage.

    • @TSFAHTPS
      @TSFAHTPS  7 месяцев назад +2

      The Bluetooth only connects to the app that you only really need to set everything up…all the effects are built in to the guitar…so you can plug headphones directly into the guitar! It’s not a really expensive guitar at $399…so as a practice tool at home I think it’s great! And if the Bluetooth side and effects on the guitar stop working you can still use it like a normal guitar…the pickups are just like on any other guitar!
