Aion Hidz Thats not really true. Yes, the Fear will be much stronger cause it works in radius of your target, but it will be easier to deal instant-dmg as Spiritmaster. First cause of the good Chainskill Combos and Second: The Chargingskill will be so damn fast with the same dmg it deals atm. So i think it will be easier to deal fast dmg as SM. Greetz Hope
Oh yeah of course it will be easier to deal more stable faster damage, but i'm speaking in terms of survivability, SM is even more squishy in 4.8 (having tested it first hand and seeing it on vids) , thus fear is being gauged as a natural part of chains now (i think this is essentially what KOR are headed for judging by some changes) ^^ Still I definitely think fearless is still possible (i hope else i'm fucked when i reroll sm - hate using fear here so xD) it will just be harder imo.
Nice video. I see what you mean that without fear sm is still a strong class but bear in mind that this is not aion where there are no godstones. I will be totally convinced about not using fear if you play the normal aion where godstones proc like crazy.
Endlich mal ein SM außer mir der sich FFA traut, und dabei auch noch halbwegs was reißt. Nur ein kleiner Tipp den ich dir geben will. Im FFA kannst du definitiv einen AOE fear rausknallen und dabei mit dem Windgeist spielen. Ein AOE fear bringt dir in der Situation in der Du wie eigentlich normalerweise fast immer im fokus bist mehr als bodyguard. Der bodyguard is dann eh in paar Sekunden weg. Außerdem kannst falls gesockelt mit weaken spirit insgesamt einen geilen burst raushauen. gg :D ~ Miew

Die Gegner allerdings in wehrlosem Zustand zu facerollen ist weder interessant, noch mit Skill verbunden. Ich sage nicht, dass ich ein guter SM bin, aber immerhin ging gut was ohne viel Erfahrung mit der Klasse zu haben und ohne zu facerollen. MfG Hope

Its a strong Class but u need Skill to play it well (Just for ex. Temps have 2x more Skills to handle then a Gladiator). And it will not be overpowerd at 4.8 as many Peoples think.

I wouldn't say using fear itself is bad. But fearLOCKing...that's something alot of fail SMs do and it IS bad. Tbh, only class I would approve to be fearlocked is SW. But alongside fear, SM has shitload of other CC skills, silences, stuns etc... Btw " I never really played a Caster so pls keep that in Mind" - and you are already better than 80 % SMs around :D
On the actual servers, it isn't so "balanced" (stats are more balanced on Not Aion, sure, but SM's come out as top tier due to versatility) so fear feels essential for surviving in PvP especially in group fights. Also, not using fear on Clerics is suicide and not using it on Assassins = asking to be stun locked.

Well, looking at the video, Mainly I see a spiritmaster battles against his "counterclass" like chanters, templars, gladiators and OK, probabily you are a gladiator or templar user , if your message is "don't use fear against physics classes", ok I am agree with you at 90%, then in the video I see more a opportunist spiritmaster than the spiritmaster's ability, most of the kills get against players with less half life... ANYWAY if you think well, all the caster class are basically similar each other, on all the strategy is based on cc, debuff, look at with the sorcerer with all summonlences and stun, he has its cc locks combo more extremely deadly than the spiritmasters, bard almost the same a deadly cc combo with penguin and paralyze lock. The only difference than them, it's the spiritmaster has the BURST of a potato shotgun, It's need a series of many DOTs and debuff before and this is the reason because spiritmasters need more times to kill a enemy while the others casters class kill a OPPONENT IN 3/4 TIME and that's the main reason because the spiritmaster is consired a OP AND MOST HATE CLASS. The main difference between the caster classes and the plate classes like gladiator, templar is the potential, the caster class begin with they don't need a lot of grind, a good weapon and it's enough. Instead the class like gladiator and templar(but same for cleric and chanter but speech slightly different) they need a good equipment, enchanted and a lot of grind because they are TANK CLASS and their build, their skills, their HP, their CD,the fact of they can keep the opponents under pressure thanks the low CD and not a lot of cast skills, all is based on resist and differently from caster class, them take more advantage than caster class to have a good equipment because exploit the features of a equipment, furthermore especially the equipment versatility,THEY CAN USE CLOTH AND LEATHER EQUIPMENT. This is the reason I told that I am agree with you at 90%. For example a gladiator, templar with a MAGIC RESIST set it's a pain to ASS, NOW even more worse with a MAGIC SUPPRESSION set with 2500 over Magic Suppression without buff became almost invincible and that's the reason I have seen several templars, assasins, gladiators, clerics kill 6 people alone, all with a excellent equipment and skills, but never the same thing with spiritmaster or others caster classes alone. All Classes are strong in their Way, there is not a single weak Class, and you can beat all of them if you use your Brain. But in a Fearlock you can have as much skill as u want. Lisssly Naja die Frage kann ich dir nur aus meiner (neutralen) Sicht beantworten: Stunlocks sind wohl auch relativ übel, jedoch benötigt es einen Spieler mit ein wenig Hirnschmalz um ne anständige Stunrota hinzukriegen (womit glücklicherweise ein Grossteil wegfällt). Des Weiteren kannman durch gut getimten Shock-Remove doch gut noch etwas Regeln. Die meisten Klassen besitzen mitlerweile auch verschiedene Erhöhungen von Stunresistenzen. Zauberer können Sleeplocken, genauso wie Barden. Ärgerlich und zugegeben auch recht langweilig, jedoch brechen diese CC's bei Dmg. Fearlock benötigt keinerlei Skill. Er bricht auch bei Dmg nicht, was dich zum idealen Opfer macht. Egal ob du ein blutiger Anfänger oder der Chuck Norris unter den Gamern bist, bist du im Fear entweder gleich tot, oder mit einer endlosen Debuffleiste gesegnet. Natürlich gibt es auch SM's die selbst das nicht hinkriegen.... Kurz: Stell dir einfach vor in Pande auf einem Dummie rum zu prügeln ^^ Hoffe das hat dem Verständnis abhilfe geschaffen ;) Grüsse Hope

Bogomil Dimitrov Sure thats possible. Bard can dispell himselfe every 8 sec. so just watch when he use his dispell and start to Time in your Head when his dispell is ready. Meanwhile u start to dot. If he wanna heal, use the Knockback to interrupt. after around 5 - 7 seconds (Depends on your good Feeling for Timing) use the Silence. So you have again time to deal dmg while silence is covered. Tipp: FFA is a very good Place for that. Opponents are not stronger or weaker then in Open PvP. Map is small, so much more PvP in short Period, what means more Action + more Fights without full CD. Open is easier to Run away, hide, or get help from PvE/Guards. No better Place to show it. Greetz Hope
Good offer but is not usefull against really good bard. You forgot bard can also can use 2 shields(1. absorb 3k dmg 2. reduced the dmg in pvp) if I successfully dispell all him buffs and I can cover silence. Its enough to tank all my skills when wait silence(if he need can use pot). Also can root every 12 seconds and sleep every 30 seconds. In FFA u can kill everyone and everyone can kill you too. Sometimes u have some skill in cd, other time they have cds.
try this on offical pls . not aion always full item you know that . you cant hit like that . you need so much accuary in offical .cuz they r using mr set . but not aion you cant find mr ppl there. Like i said try this in offical server . btw i dnt use fear too but in offical this so hard. try it

Aion - Miew wieso sollte das faceroll sein? Sm hat sehr wenig Verteidiung wenn er Fear nicht benutzt. Da hat jede andere Klasse mehr. Das kleine Schild ist schnell runter gehauen. Dann dürfen Kantoren kein 2min Schild usen, Gladis keine KD, Templer kein Iron, Sorc keine Wintry, Illusion oder 10min Schild etc etc.

Try to kill bard without fearlock or physical class with MS set in normal 1v1. FFA is bad place to show SM's opportunities.

Sure thats possible. Bard can dispell himselfe every 8 sec. so just watch when he use his dispell and start to Time in your Head when his dispell is ready. Meanwhile u start to dot. If he wanna heal, use the Knockback to interrupt. after around 5 - 7 seconds (Depends on your good Feeling for Timing) use the Silence. So you have again time to deal dmg while silence is covered.
Tipp: FFA is a very good Place for that. Opponents are not stronger or weaker then in Open PvP. Map is small, so much more PvP in short Period, what means more Action + more Fights without full CD. Open is easier to Run away, hide, or get help from PvE/Guards. No better Place to show it.

Good offer but is not usefull against really good bard. You forgot bard can also can use 2 shields(1. absorb 3k dmg 2. reduced the dmg in pvp) if I successfully dispell all him buffs and I can cover silence. Its enough to tank all my skills when wait silence(if he need can use pot). Also can root every 12 seconds and sleep every 30 seconds.
In FFA u can kill everyone and everyone can kill you too. Sometimes u have some skill in cd, other time they have cds.

try this on offical pls . not aion always full item you know that . you cant hit like that . you need so much accuary in offical .cuz they r using mr set . but not aion you cant find mr ppl there. Like i said try this in offical server .

Alot of People have mres on Not Aion. most have 3 and more cause its easy to get. Unfortunatly i dont have any Spiritmaster on Retail. I dont really have the Nerves to lvl up again ^^
No, your just bad. SMS can beat anything without fear. Only class that's hard without fear is clerics and some bards.
I cannot understand people who says play without some skills... iron skin, fear, aether armor etc. If we won’t use them, then why they are even exists? They are all noob crys.
Du gibst dir ja grade deine Begründung selber. Du sagst das es nich skilly is fear zu benutzen aber bodyguard is ok. Ich sag nich das man im 1v1 fear benutzen soll. Im open/FFA hast Du ja aber wie schon gesagt scheiss Verteidigung da is ein aoe fear gerechtfertigt

Es geht ja nich darum zu facerollen. Ein bodyguard im 1v1 zeigt auch nicht gerade viel von skill da lieber einen AOE fear in die masse rein anstatt bodyguard gegen einen templer

wieso sollte das faceroll sein? Sm hat sehr wenig Verteidiung wenn er Fear nicht benutzt. Da hat jede andere Klasse mehr. Das kleine Schild ist schnell runter gehauen. Dann dürfen Kantoren kein 2min Schild usen, Gladis keine KD, Templer kein Iron, Sorc keine Wintry, Illusion oder 10min Schild etc etc.

i already dissliked the video before i even see it becauseof the tittle its dum,if you think fear is not balanced its not your problem if the company cannot balance their game its their fault i wana see the full potential of the class and its even better to use a broken spell in a game so people complain about it on the forums and then they gonna balance out the classes
