I’m a chess expert and should reach master level this year. Chess has very little to do with intelligence, (it is still a factor) but not nearly as much as repetition and pattern recognition, in other words the more you play the better you get period.

He should have pushed his King back to A-7 on that last Knight check, would have given him a stall and time to think. Maybe even get his Knight back into things.

Then white king behind white bishop. At some point white bishop places black king into check. Buys time but in the end Darius had advantage because of his rook.

@@izs6946 Definitely. I don't play tourneys but I saw tons of good moves here, aside from QGA(which, in hindsight, is confusing. I'd have thought someone who is actually good at chess wouldn't have played this but maybe he just doesn't play against Queen's Gambit a lot?)
