All that energy filtering, masking, versioning and all the internal emotional dissonance when lifted feels amazing. But it can't stop there. Being yourself after denying yourself isn't just like walking through a doorway. People need extra support and care as they adapt. I love this project and it's incredible message. I love the parents and friends who accept their love ones. I love the people who are challenged at first but change to acceptance. It's really all about loving yourself & others.
I think the reason some gay guys are so good looking is because they have that nice mix of part feminine and part masculine features & qualities about them (i.e. Jeremiah here). So that blend is attractive to many people.
I think many have missed the while point & intention behind the video. Negative comments & shallow remarks aside, it's a person trying to help by being open & honest about themselves and revealing a part of themselves
and almost a decade later it got even better for him now that he’s married with 2 kids 😌 (p.s only found out abt jeremiah recently & thought he’s fine as hell but dayumm he was even more of a snacc when he was youngerrr)
Good thing for this guy that his family accepted it, but unfortunately for most gays, at least from my generation, that isn't the case. My mother, in particular, was especially cruel when she suspected that I was gay! She didn't even know for certain and was so mean and rotten and downright despicable and I wasn't even out yet and was struggling with it by myself. At 50, I'm still scarred by how I was treated by my own mother! Really hateful people out there! This young man is very lucky!
Thank you! This is more indicative of real life situations where most attractive men you meet in public and in general are heterosexual and easily offended if you find them attractive. I rarely have had a crush turn out to be "gay"/bi and it's quite stupid that people are under the false impression that all "gay" men are hot or pretty, when it's a blessing for a crush in greater society to not be heterosexual.
