Just made a single storage box for my small collection of embossing folders. They finally look tidy and easily accessible. Thanks for the clear instructions
What a great idea! I've got a bunch of paper pads just laying around in drawers. This way, I can actually SEE what's there, and then USE them! Well done indeed!
Just last night I was sorting out my craft room and I have all of my 6 x 6 stacked, so I will make a couple of these today, thank you Sam. Also when I’m labelling I type a few at once just putting 3 spaces in between each one, it saves the tape.
This is a great project for a rainy day. I am trying so hard to consolidate all of my stuff and get it into smaller spaces. This is the answer to my needs. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing.
Wow! love this, I am looking at new storage units. I might have a go making similar to fit on the shelves. It’s a brilliant idea, thank s for sharing. I am now "bashing" my corners rather than "squeezing" with pliers, much easier. Thank you again fo another wonderful Tutorial.
This is a great box and like you said, easy to do, just takes a little time. I made just one and it fits all my 6x6 papers. If I do make another one, I probably won't attach them together. I can't see covering up the sides with pretty paper only to cover them up by gluing them together. ;-) Oh, and you can use the envelope punch board to make tabs for your dividers. Thanks for a great tutorial!!
I have just made this box. Mine wasn't perfect, but close enough for nobody else but me to notice. I can't believe how simple it was. Love it Sam. Have you ever made a desk storage for pens, rules, rubbers etc.,?
Loved this! I try every card tutorial that you do and they mostly work great! I am going to try the bags next, I've just acquired a lot of designer wallpaper sample books so I can use plain card and stick that to the card. I used double sided sticky sheets as my dbl sided tape was thin, and it worked very well, saved lots of time. I have also made an 8 x 8 one as well, a bit unwieldly on the desk when assembling due to size but it worked brilliantly. I used the dbl sided sticky sheets again. I so look forward to your tutorials. Thank you for sharing. X
wonderful project. i have a book case with drawers that I can keep my 12x12 or 8x8 in but my 6x6 gets all beat up if I use one for them. i will certainly keep this video and make a few. thanks so much for sharing!!!!!
Очень хороший и очень подробный мастер-класс.Особенно мне очень понравилась идея формирования стыков - ОРИГИНАЛЬНО! Спасибо Вам и творческих успехов Вам в дальнейшем!!!
Hi Sam, I went to your blog but did not find the link to where to purchase the divider die cut. Can you provide me with the link to the divider tab? I love you tutorials! Continue to shine!
So easy and they look great. I thought of a few random things while I was watching this, and I thought I would share even though there is nothing new here. I always run my laminating through again after I cut around it just to be extra sure the edges are sealed, If I am making a bunch of labels, I simply do them all at the same time putting a few spaces between them. When I finish, I just cut them apart, and I only have wasted tape at the beginning and the end. If you want your base to be covered underneath, just attach the boxes to the back instead of the front. The boxes should cover the unpapered area, and since your corners have the protectors on them and they are so neatly done, it will be difficult to tell what you did. If you can tell some of the uncovered chipboard is going to be visible, simply cut your paper a little bigger.
Omg. I love, love, love this. You are truly amazing. I did make a box and posted on the fb page. I’d love to know what you think. Thank you so much for your great storage idea. ❤️
Sam this is AMAZING!!! Wow. You are a genius 😀 what a beautiful way to store our 6x6 paper pads. Thank you SO much for sharing. I just love your storage and stationary projects 💕❤️
Hi, Beth, I keep all my scraps in clear plastic sleeves, organised by colour. Check out my Craft Room Tour video as I show how I store my scraps in that :)
This is a great idea, like everything you make! Do you know what the paper is that you used for the 6" x 6" box? I love the heart pattern! :) keep up the excellent work! 😁❤️😁
Hy, finally made one after a lot of boo boo’s, lol, wasted a load of paper and got glue all over me, I am very much a newbie, and just so pleased with myself, you describe so well how to do, absolutely brilliant, xxx
Hi, It's a gorgeous box. Maybe you can make a tutorial for a lid to this box or a box with a lid from chipboard? I wish you can. Thanks a lot, Liat Itzhak
I have strong plastic boxes for my 12 x 12 as they are so heavy. You would need A3 chipboard as you would need your front and back to be 12.1/4 by whatever height you wanted. Your sides are up to you but I would go to thin else it could topple over. Its hard to make storage for 12 x 12 paper packs due to their weight. :)
thank you sam yeh got mine in plastic boxes I have 27 12x12 pads because of trimcraft lol I keep saying I'm going to cut a few to 8x8 or 6x6 and when I get the pads out I say to myself na i will leave it lol Xx

What a great idea! I've got a bunch of paper pads just laying around in drawers. This way, I can actually SEE what's there, and then USE them! Well done indeed!

I so enjoy your videos! Jennifer McGuire has a video on how to make your labels and not have the waste at the ends. TFS
