    great video! As some one prone to injuries while DIY'ing I myself am trying to up my PPE game. For this I don't keep cutting corners anymore on the quailty and amount of PPE available on hand while I do work. My last and nastiest injury so far happend last year while cutting the isolation from a electric cable, razor sharp, surgery steel knife half-flayed my thumb cutting through the nail. Definitly reducing clutter and ramping up organization in the workshop is the way to go to dump up both productivity and safety.

    Awesome video. If you want a quieter shopvac alternative, look into Dewalt Stealth Sonic vacs. It's a normal shopvac but MUCH quieter. I just picked one up from Lowes last week on clearance for $100. The suction of the air at the end of the hose is louder than the vacuum itself.

    Great video! Been there, done that! Ok, the money you blew on that Festool sander would have bought a Harbor Freight dust collector and TWO Hercules sanders...don't knock Harbor Freight. If it's a tool I'm only going to use once/twice a year, why blow it on high dollar tools just to impress your friends? Save that money for your CNC....I have that same Delta saw, love the fence on it. I know you're using your router table as outfeed, but the router will fit nicely in that dead space to the right of your fence, plus you can use that bitching fence for it. New sub BTW

    • @fiveduckstudio
      @fiveduckstudio  6 месяцев назад

      Thank you! I guess it does sound like I'm knocking harbor freight 😆. I totally agree no reason to pay for a tool you might only use once or twice a year. I do a lot of hours of sanding so an high-end sander was a need for me and the festool came with a 3 year warranty. It sure wasn't an easy purchase 😂. I'm a big fan of WEN products, saves me the drive. As the nearest HF from me is over an hour away.
