    Thanks for this video. Nice Job. Already got a bracket and pole and just found your video. Been looking for a clamp like that, much appreciated. Thinking about adding a second bracket. Wow the fiberglass rods have gone up at Grainger, now $77. I got a similar bracket from Halk Marine $135, excellent quality and made in USA. Got a 9 ft SuperStick pole from Cabelas for $87, excellent quality and made in USA.

    If you drill a hole between the bracket and the pipe at different intervals you can put a metal pin in to stabilize the boat a little

      Front and back would be the way to go in our opinion. Your boat won’t move an inch with that setup. Tag us in a pic on social when you get yours finished.

    Great idea I did the same for my pontoon boat but that bracket in the back I had made up by my own welder for only fifty bucks and I made the pole out of PVC stuffed with wooden dowels for only $13. But I do like that fiberglass Pole you're using

    • @PrestigeWorldwideFishing
      @PrestigeWorldwideFishing  5 лет назад +1

      Awesome! The bracket is the most expensive piece so if you can weld one yourself you can really save money. The Fiberglass rod is nice because it isn’t buoyant so it sticks in the bottom easier.

      @@PrestigeWorldwideFishing ... Be VERY CAREFUL of fiberglass rods. Once they flex they will splinter, very fine splinters. Sliding you hand on that pole you will be hating life. I got my 3/4" x 10'-0" pole at Graingers. Not sure this is the exact material but I believe it may be. It is a composite, NOT fiberglass. www.grainger.com/product/POLYMERSHAPES-Rod-6MEP0
