Do we think that the fact that Brandon Miller is on the USA select team which is practicing in Vegas with the Olympic team and wraps up the day before summer league practice in Vegas has anything to do with him being on the summer league Vegas only roster?
Salaun looks great on highlights. The upside jumps off the screen, but for anyone who has dug a little deeper, he has some crazy bad misses and is actually terribly inconsistent finishing at the rim. He will be going against younger, less experienced, and less physically imposing players in summer league. I expect him to do what he did in France, have some great highlights and some bewildering moments of over confidence that look a little silly.
Not different between what you described & a newly drafted Giannis. Matter of fact, Giannis could only run coast to coast and that was pretty much it. The Kai Jones comp/vibe is misplaced. Kai didn't start basketball untill he was 16 this the low basketball IQ And worse yet, he had one single move: drive to the baskets , feign left then go right for a dunk. And that was it. Salaun is already a two level scorer and just needs more reps on that. Then needs to get a jump shot. Has high defensive upside already. Has quick lateral movement. He does need to tighten his handle, create a jumper, improve shot selection.
I wasn't shitting on him; I'm excited to see what he becomes. But, right now, most seem to be leaning hard into the "next Giannis" thing, which is strange to me because their games are completely different. You are correct, he seems to have the potential to make a huge Giannis-like leap in play, although as a completely different type of player. He could also be a big ass bust, like the other 99% of raw talents who don't have a Giannis type leap. That possibility is seemingly being ignored. That's it, just trying to bring a little reality to the convo.
As much as i love Nick Richards - His play style is old school. Having smaller bigs that can space the floor is far more important - that having 20+ goaltends in a season....
nah i think B miller playing on SL is so insane to me. we simply cannot afford any risk of injuries before training camp. he’s proven himself. He’s just as important to our future as wemby is to the spurs. Even if wemby wasn’t on the national team, i guarantee he wouldn’t play…because the spurs are a smart run organization. idk man this just seems like a simple decision especially since the injury bug seems to now be in this season already
Leaky made plays when he was on the floor last year. I think a 1st for Nick is possible, because the contract is great and some team may get desperate. Any center who is acceptable on d and can hit over 30% on threes would at least give us something we currently don't have (and need). Looked like Bryce got his little money and relaxed last year, starting with the listless and disappointing summer league showing. Opposite of the type of attitude and drive the new regime seems to be looking for. He better rebound big....soon. Need to figure out all these damn guards and trim the fat.
Steph Curry door is open to Charlotte? When he free agent hope he come to Charlotte as Back up PG give LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller duo playoff experience

Did J Cole get them to waive Amari Bailey to distance themselves from Drake
I mean JCole isnt exactly enemies with Drake lol, theres a reason why KDot dissed them both for being buddy buddy

And.....Go Hornets (Summer League)!!
Cant wait for todays video
TS was just playing in the Euro playoffs as the teams best player.
Why would he come out and go 0-10 in a summer league game?
And even if he goes 0/10 it means nothing haha klay can go 0/10
PJ and Miles were on the select team in 2021 but sent home (COVID)
Zavier Simpson and Mo Gueye are faves to make a strong impression (2way)
I feel like you two should know of RaeQuan Battle… super excited about this guy. I’d say he takes one of those 2 way contracts
I think yall will like morgan. Being from syracuse seeing him play at cornell and for boehiems army. He is a baller.

Raquan Battle could be a sleeper.. talented kid
Is Miles.hoping for a.sign and trade? Teams have run out of cap space to offer a big dollar FA contract.
20 guys on the roster for SLB 👀
Is the big we drafted last year on the summer league roster?
No
Wait they cut Amari Bailey??
Nah didn’t offer him
Hornets accumulating picks so they can give Golden State boatload for Steph to have a 2 year run here.
9:59 went to college with Drew Pember I’ve watched a lot of his game and I can say he’s legit, he just needs to add weight
