I was in depression from last 3 year. Every medicine had been taken by me but i could not overcome from that situation. Suddenly i have seen a video of Amogh leela das prabhu on bhagwat gita . And started chanting hare krishna mantra. It is very powerful. From last 6 days i have completely overcome from depression and reduced smoking almost automatically. Now how can i thank him for giving me bhakti of krishna and bhagvatgita i dont know. Hare krishna Keep me all life in your feet. Now i m so lucky and blissful.

I am Christian, but Prabhupada showed me what it means to be truly religious. I am indebted to him for showing me what bhakti is.
This man single-handedly converted 500,000 Christians to Hinduism. Respect 🙏

Earlier I didn't like this ISCKON. Those guys on dhoti, bald Heads. But when I fell under depression recently, some how RUclips's suggestions videos got me to ISCKON hare Krishna songs. The I went ahead to see who is Srila Prabhupada. I was so wrong these days. It really helped me to come out of my depression and anxiety. I loved the way he talks. His biography so spirituality in him. I felt like I missed so much of this wisdom on god. Hare Krishna. Will try to visit the ISCKON temple regularly. 🙏

Excellent discourse..while westerners especially from Europe, America 🇺🇸, Australia etc may have thought that they have materially advanced through science and technology, however being godless/atheistic people, happiness/bliss deludes them..that explains the problems of gun violence,breakdown in family values, lack of warmth and sociability in interpersonal interactions, gun violence, moral degeneration etc...materialism or scientific achievement in the western sense whether by capitalism or communism is not the path to happiness and inner peace which is the ultimate goal of humanity and whose path is shown through Hinduism and more particularly vedanta...

@@sahilsinghal7566 he didn't mean all women liked rape. He meant women like illicit sex, it's evident that people cheat each other, these days it's increasing. He used the term "Rape" because even looking with sexual intention towards a man who is not her Husband is considered cheating and it's obvious that woman is not chaste. He was just talking about extramarital affairs when he said that and not the physical act of rape.

Srila Prapbhupada follows the Advait-Dvait concept of God Consciousness, with Bhakti as the spiritual path. In Hindu Dharma, the most popular one is Advaita concept of God Consciousness, espoused by Adi Shankara where Consciousness is real and matter is maya (perception). In Kashmir Shaivism, we have trika concept (Advait, Advait-Dvait and Dvait; all three) with Bhakti was well as rituals.

I understand the growth on the path of consciousness in real sense has to be irreversible and for that there should not be any imposition and only one way... There might be different styles (positive or satvik) given the complex nature of the human being. All should be accommodated. I am not sure what does the please the God means? I think this could be misunderstood, should not we do the karma in right sense... Rest will start falling into place as the journey will 'begin'...

Prahbupada bring bhakti-yoga to western civilization, but from my point of view, it was not that happy thing like it try to show us all to be. Problem is that many people cannot recognize the knowing from ideology. Bhakti is not ideology, its way of life, but its way of life, thats not focus to much on logical and racional aspects of the mind. so many people in confusion mistaken bhakt for some kind of religion... But prahbupada dont do much to properly explain that. In some sense he was from my poit of view a little bit fanatical
If he is such a siddhi purush,why not reveal attaining of asta siddhis to common man.just fool people and enjoy all luxuries on earth,that is motto of all gurus in india.nothing is useful for common man.
Venkatesh, ashta siddhis is related to bodily yoga of life. it's not spiritual concept. if you want ashta siddhis go to himalayas and meet yogis over there. If you want to learn science of god, see Srila prabhupada's videos. Hope i have cleared your doubt.
