Found your channel from OurZRoll (and found OurZRoll from TylerTravelsTV). I’m going on a Alaskan Cruise (Norwegian Bliss) in May! So been loving these Alaska Vlogs!
Love packing vlogs!!!! Sherri I need that jacket! I loved how you were able to pack items inside that jacket. I need all the help I can get for keeping my suitcase under weight for our Alaskan cruise.
Taking Princess next June for the same itinerary. Florida native, haven’t seen 75 degrees as a high in awhile, lol. We are going to look like pack mules heading to the airport.
buy the waterproof shoes/sneakers like those of VESSIi's, the chelsea could work instead of thr stiff rubber boots, but there r other brands. For layering.... i highly suggest wearing the baselayers, the fabric that clings to ur skin, UNIQLO have nice ones. keeps body heat a lot but still breathable, and in different colours. U can wear just a thin fleece on top of it, and a good down or synthetic jacket, a neck gaiter and gloves, ure all set and not too bulky.
You guys are much more strategic than I… I love it! I see you posted the videos in June, so did you guys cruise in May? My husband and I just booked the same cruise for May 27! Hoping to look for you guys for packing inspiration!
I totally agree about being able to drive home after a cruise. It makes it so much easier, cheaper and less stressful. For me that means sailing out of Galveston!
Great Vlog, thank you for mentioning the gloves... I deal with some neuropathy in my hands and feet and will definitely need some gloves lol... Thank you again for such useful information
Hello, friends! Just booked our Alaska cruise for August on NCL. My packing strategy is going to be, leave my t-shirts at home, and buy a t-shirt (long or short sleeve), hoodie, or similar at each port or point of interest! I can wear them while cruising, and pre-save luggage space when packing at home. Is this a reasonable strategy? Full disclosure, I've already ordered 2 tees from Woodlands in Skagway so I'll be able to pick up more while I'm there Love your channel, and you two ❤😊
I just found you two. Love your videos! In this video you checked in 3 suitcases and then each of your carry-on, correct? I was wondering what kind of rain jackets do you use in Alaska. Is that the only jackets you use? Someone said we needed synthetic puffer jackets, not so sure. We will be leaving this May (26) for 2 weeks 2023. I love the lightweight Cabela gloves! And Sherri gave me an idea to pack a few dress up shirts - in Michigan I live in T-shirts. lol
It’s crazy to me you guys pack right before you leave! For a trip like this I would have had my suitcase out and half way packed at least 3-4 days before lol. Even our weekend trips to Disneyland (we live in Vegas) I start packing a couple days before. Somehow y’all manage to do it tough.. can’t wait to watch these cruise videos.
I still wear masks whenever I'm going to a store or crowded area. I really don't see why it's a big deal. COVID is still going around and the people I know who have had it says it sucks. I also live in HOT and HUMID SWFL, so it's more of an inconvenience here. I guess I just think the mask is better than being super sick for a week -- and potentially long-term affects of the virus.
Thx you two! So much useful info. Love the curtain clips! I always pack a bunch of ziploc bags for potentially leaky or later wet things. Also a couple garbage bags for dirty laundry. Just helps keep whatever room tidy, and can stuff them in suitcases for the return. Last trip I had to roll a bunch of my dirty clothes tho, oh well ;)
Just found your channel and loving it. Leaving for Alaska in 6 days. Have a question about medication. Do you need to pack papers on what medication you have packed? Hope your vacation went smoothly? We're flying Delta and nervous about all the cancellation.
We just got back from a non Disney Alaska cruise, glad to hear Princess put masks back indoors, I wish Norwegian had done it on our cruise, our family of 4 came back home with Covid, it’s been a rough week! Can’t wait to see all your cruise fun! Take care ❤️
Sheri I love your hair up. You should wear it up line that more often Putting things inside of things is a perfect solution to limited space I always pack a deck of cards.
Boo & I have been watching together. So we were eatin dinner, watching the video, and he just suddenly (and excitedly) says “I have that same shirt!” So apparently Adam & Boo both rock the same purple plaid fancy shirt. I think he actually wore it to his first day of the new job. lol
Heading on an Alaskan Cruise (with Princess) in about a month, but have heard a couple of things about formal nights. On the Princess website they say men need to wear a suit jacket, but in this video, and others I've seen, the men just wear slacks and dress shirts. Which is it?
You two are beyond adorable 🥰 I’m so excited to hear how you enjoyed this cruise….was the food comparable to the infamous Disney Food? So excited to get all your thoughts xo Theresa
another tip, use vacuum bags for the bulky sweaters. u can ask the housekeeping if u can borrow a vacuum when it is time to pack home.
Nunn Bush shoes rock ! My husband loves his
I love watching how Sherri is so methodical when it comes to packing 👍👏👏💕💕🛳🛳

That's on my bucket list to take a Alaska cruise!
To bad no room for your fancy hat. The black one with your dress clothes I think you would look awesome. Hope y'all had a great safe cruise.

Hear hear!
We take clothespins along on trips to pin the hotel room curtains closed!
Yup, good idea!

Yay! We’re cruising Alaska non Disney for the first time this summer, too. Good to see what people from a cold weather state bring. We’re Minnesotans.

Going in Sept. On my second Alaskan Cruise, this one on HAL.

I missed seeing where Sherri’s unicorn rain boots got packed. I just can’t wait to hear your review of this trip. Have a fabulous adventure!❤️❤️
I’m surprised you would put camera gear in your check luggage.
6:11 Roll up any ties you’re bringing and ball up your socks and put them in the shoes that you’re packing to best economize space. 😉
Hahaha just didn’t watch the whole video when made that previous comment! Just now seeing 9:22 and how you did exactly that! 😁
I see this video was completed on June 19th.... but I'm curious what we're the exact dates of travel.
We travelled mid-June of 2022 :)
how much luggage is allowed on board?
We were fortunate that our Alaskan cruise started and ended in our home city of Seattle so we brought more suitcases than usual.
Adam you should have tried to turn you shoes like in a shoe box.
Oooh, that’s a great idea! I’ll have to remember that for next time. Thank you!

Hey. So I’m packing right now for an Alaska trip 🙂 what are some good NorCal things to give my hosts?
