There's this sweet spot for Psytrance I've found when exploring the genre. If you go too early into the 2000s it sounds really tacky with all the sample sounds. If you stick to modern psytrance it all sounds the same with cliche "psychedelic" sounds thrown on top of a generic beat. But between 2008 to like 2014 is a really good time for this genre. It still has the retro feel but isn't thrown into the gimmick of modern psytrance.

I work in an open office, and it's really difficult to concentrate on work, so only option I had is put on the headphones and listen to music through the whole day. I mostly listen to liquid DnB, but it wasn't the music I needed for work -- I found it to be a bit too fast :D Buuut, since I found your channel on YT, everything has changed for the better! I'm really concentrated and your mixes make my brain work with perfect clock rate (I even mentioned that today on my TDD) :D Keep up the good work!
