So very true. Think about it: There's pretty much only two types of music in the mainstream: Rap/thug-hop, and... Taylor swift. One promotes pretty much nothing but violence, narcissism, greed, and promiscuity. The other encourages breaking up with men at the drop of a hat. Seriously... imagine a world where this was the standard of music. No divisiveness, no ego. Just being our true selves and spreading positive vibes that melt into a harmonious way of life. It almost seems like it's this way on purpose...
In the late 90's/early 2000's people didn't go on about having the best music or being special or being the lucky ones, we just enjoyed the amazing gifts djs and producers provided - there was so much more love for the music and for each other and so much less narcissism. It's was absolutely magical, and the difference in the world today is tragic.

Amazing mix. I like the classic era the best (1995-2003) but the period between 2007-2011 when most of these tunes were released has a big spot in my heart as this era helped me through an incredibly difficult period in my life. Trance saves lives. I'm a living proof.
Played this at a friends wedding/afterparty on the beach on my little JBL extreme that was a marvel of technology only a few years ago. People came up to me afterwards before the party ended and were thanking me. ALWAYS come back to the Golden age.
Brings back crazy memories of living in Manhattan Beach, CA and going to clubs in Hollywood. Wild, Very Crazy Times. Great times. I'm glad I lived to tell about them. Glad it's over....LOL
This mix is still fire. It has everything it needs, beauty, power, great emotions and vibes and nostalgia. I love it ❤. I guess this mix will still be powerful in the next decade. Just timeless.
Do not be sad its over, be happy it happened. As bittersweet as it is listening to a time past, I am eternally grateful I can still listen to this mix years later and remember how it made me feel years ago. Thank you for this mix.
Bro, you can feel it again. I am 33 years old and my first loved style of electronic music was trance. I am now in techno, rock, and all other genres. Its all depends of mood, sometimes even hardstyle which i hated before but now love it. But trance will be that style which brought me as young kid into electronic music. This style will never dies, not in my life.

+SirArd “Realm of Trance” O If I may ask what's the name of the beautiful girl listening to the headphones in the first song? :P I saw her in one of your other trance songs also
When you reach a certain level of age everything becomes familiar and we don't enjoy except for one thing that is MUSIC. Artists know how to press our emotional buttons. I started to listening to this back in 2013 and to this day this collection reminds of the day I was traveling ling from one state to another in the bus while listening to this beautiful track. The only exciting thing in the world is MUSIC.
I never realized how astonishingly good Tiesto's "Walking On Clouds" was until just now. This music is impossible to duplicate. It's just perfect trance. Layers, vocals, backmix... awesome.
Benjamin Smith this my friend is one of my favourite tracks ever made it’s soooo good that the day I bought it on vinyl I was sooo pleased it’s a truly perfect haunting creation
I remember when the dj's used to get mad if we shook the floor too much because it could cause the tracks to skip- it was all vinyl in those days. Now all I see are deejays fist pumping and knob twiddling with headphones on for show, apparently. The stuff in the 90's was great. The genre is still kicking but very different and I'm glad because it has to change to stay fresh.
Since I was I kid, I was amazed in how this music calmed me down so easily. After 45 years, Still does.......for the people that didn't understood then, still don't understand now. THANK YOU!!!!!!
They don't make this kind of music anymore. I started listening around 2001 and the trance back then literally gave me chills. It breaks my heart that while I do enjoy some of the newer music there's nothing that touches my soul like the trance from the early 2000s. Please come back -_-
With the exception of the dreadfully bad track Gareth Emery just released (Electric Pirates), he generally releases beautiful uplifting trance like the tracks in this list. But this mix is truly amazing - every track is awesome, the transitions are superb, and I wish I could go to a show and hear this exact list or something very similar. Not very many DJs play this kind of music in the United States, and sometimes when I do hear a classic trance track played, the DJ ruins it one way or another. Sad. Edit - I hadn't finished listening yet. I'm not sure what happened at 1:33:57, but foe me, the train went off the tracks. Ouch. Tracks 24 - 26 are brutal. WHY. Stay with the euphoric trance!
I agree with you on that! Trance from the early 2000s had heart and soul, and for one of those reasons as to why I miss that time era, (it was even better than the 90s if you ask me)
I started listening to trance music from my early age (14) now 31 and after all these years i still listening to this amazing genre. The funny thing is.. It's get better and better every year i listen to the 90s 00s songs. Still today i find so now and then new songs that i never heard of and i listen to them with the same attention like every song i listen to of trance. This genre like this will never come back again but man what a great artist were born then and still kicking today on the other flow of music now today. Trance forever,Trance addict.
I wish my early 20s had been spent raving in trance clubs instead of sitting in my parent's basement playing computer games.. I feel I really missed out not experiencing this epic era of trance at the prime age.
some of the best times of my life were playing computer games (ultima online 1999-2003) like a second childhood. Lessons and experiences in everything.
@kurt D was def something magical about being in a big club and mostly off your head with your mates until the early hours of Sunday morning. Trance was always my fav. I was 22 and spent a year doing it. I’m 45 now. Still makes me dance inside just not in front of the kids!
I used to listen to Walking on Clouds driving into town knowing the night lay ahead.....the anticipation, the friends, the vibe the Trance. I miss it :)
im 39 and the golden age is just in front of us. sure the 2000th were great , we had a great youth, but the times gets better and better and i dont see why so few people see this.
Indeed, when I listen to the trance tracks of 2003-2008 and compare them to the contemporary ones, I just can't help but agree with you that the best years of trance are gone.
Trance from the mid 2000s is just different. I would say, the last period of REAL beautiful harmonic Trance music. Trance fans with "that ear" and exquisite taste would agree.
I must choose Rank 1 - Airwave as my all time favorite. I realized this in 2001 while listening to it in my college dorm room. Another friend on campus sent me his entire trance collection through Napster back then and it included Airwave. I'm 43 now.
The description of your video is spot on! Great mix. I grew up in Belgium and only went to clubs for the “trance feeling” 1990 to 1999 where the golden age of a ‘sonic empire’. I was heartbroken when Zillion closed DAYS before i turned 18. Now i’m 35 and can tell you, something died after the Millenium. But this generation knows what it was like, we are still here! Revive this, without the modern overkill, i might move back to Belgium. 😍🙂 Trance Nation!
The way time is moving is scary to me. I'll forever love House, Techno, & Trance music no matter what. When I listen to these songs I'm back in time to an older version of myself and all of the awful things he endured. All of the dreams, hopes, aspirations, and desires... none of them came true. As I head into my 40's, I'm wondering, what's next? Listening to these songs and remembering the old friends, club days, and looking at how different everything & everyone is today. Idk what's next? I have no idea! No clue!
'' For many, the best years of trance are behind us '' 100% agree with this. Producers are going for a different sound nowadays, so trance doesn't have the same potential. Maybe one day, it'll make a comeback :)
So glad others agree that Trance has lost what made it so special. I really thought I was just getting old as hardly any new Trance releases sound like Trance. It seems that Dubstep polluted Trance and every other alternative form of music just chipped away at wholesome Trance mixes. Now it seems we're stuck with anything "electronic" and they call it Trance. If anyone else knows of some great new Trance tracks, please let me know. I'm starving for good new Trance music. Thanks.
PimP GimP sadly I can’t mention good new trance because new age stuff is garbage but some dj’s are bringing trance back 2018 has seen a rise in trance and 2019 will be brilliant I feel it in my bone, watch tiesto gelderdome 2001 it had some fine trance on that dvd

i totally agree. its sad to see that anymore we see ppl on stage just mashing buttons making noises. and the current generation loves thay shit lol its garbage.
Thank you, THANK YOU for this beautiful, amazing and magical set. Trance music will always be my fav music. It's the only music that produces this effect inside of my soul that reverberates throughout my body and mind and resonates so deeply within me and the nostalgia is like a drug. I graduated in 2003 and I remember listening to trance all summer and smoking weed and just having the best time. The first time I ever heard it was in 1999 and I was hooked. I was given some complimentary CD at American Eagle clothing store, and since we spent a certain amount, the CD was free and I think it was called Yuletide Groove or Yule Groove. Bro...after hearing the third song on that CD (I have no idea who it was or what the song was called) but I was done for. Thank you again for this gift of Trance!!!💜💜💜 #trance #TRANCEndance
Great relaxing and upbeat mix. Listened to the whole thing as I was reading. Thanks for posting this. I do agree, late 90’s early 00’s had great trance music. Can’t put my finger on it but today’s stuff just doesn’t bring on the same relaxed and upbeat feel for me. BTW, 51 years old and I love Trance music.
More than twenty years time since I listen trance music, and for sure this music will never get old, some periods is little bit down others up, but always we have some track that we keep in our brains and minds.
Lots of awesome tracks in the modern day, amongst many bad ones, but NOTHING will ever compare to th golden age. This fact mixed with a bit of nostalgia brings back the magic.
I've listened to this playlist so many times while doing home work and I love how it opens and closes with Tiesto.....plus it's full of amazing hits!!!
Ce soir, avec ma famille réunie à Noël, nous écoutons ce mix en jouant au ping-pong et en buvant de la vodka citron. Best time ever. Long live SirardO.😊❤
When it started with "walking on clouds" I knew right then and there that this mix was going to be a masterpiece. Golden Age, indeed. The best of the best. Thanks for bringing us back.
I feel so lucky to have been exposed to trance during this golden age. It was Zocalo in 2009 that introduced me to trance. I didn't realize just how good it was back then
I discovered trance when I was a kid, I´m 23 now. Old cds, dream dance, future trance etc. driving with my dad and my bro listening to this exciting masterwork. Wish I could have lived in that era, if someone discovers a time machine ... pls I even buy a ticket from you. ♥♥♥ Trance 4 Ever!
Strange feeling- when you listen to nowadays music and you like it, but than sudenly you get chance to listen 10-20 years old music to get that rare feeling of eargasm)))

10 years this has been out and feels like yesterday sometimes... There's nothing quite like edm from the late 90s-early 2000s... Great mix here! Thx!!
I was there in the early 2000's, it will be with me for all time.
This trance will never die in our hearts, its just perfect .
it's ded to me
@@truedarknessify You should i I’m just

THIS is true trance music. I grew up on it, and will stick to this long after my hair has turned gray... ❤️
Than you might Love this ;) ... ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Avengers Jeep & Adonimus.
Agree bro
I never realized how astonishingly good Tiesto's "Walking On Clouds" was until just now. This music is impossible to duplicate. It's just perfect trance. Layers, vocals, backmix... awesome.
Benjamin Smith this my friend is one of my favourite tracks ever made it’s soooo good that the day I bought it on vinyl I was sooo pleased it’s a truly perfect haunting creation
my thoughts exactly, listening to it again now feels like the 1s time
It seemed like it would go forever, and just get better and better. I should have known trance like this would not last. I'm glad it happened.
Right. I used to skip this track but now it's kinda on repeat.
Brilliant tracklist , I can't find the dl link on SoundCloud tho ? Any help would be appreciated 👍
Please come back -_-
Rachel Rhyno The world has become idiotic nowadays where people lost their sense with the reality
Rachel Rhyno exactly! Why do all good things come to an end?
Trance from the early 2000s had heart and soul, and for one of those reasons as to why I miss that time era, (it was even better than the 90s if you ask me)
You're so right these new music these days have no feelings as the trance music from the past 😔
Trance forever,Trance addict.
trance is inherently European
... Maybe... It will ;) ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Avengers Jeep & Adonimus. (Enjoy)
Lessons and experiences in everything.
ya did...epic times
@kurt D was def something magical about being in a big club and mostly off your head with your mates until the early hours of Sunday morning. Trance was always my fav. I was 22 and spent a year doing it. I’m 45 now. Still makes me dance inside just not in front of the kids!
Did both. Though the screen/TV became hard to see at times.
YOU DID
Music is powerful and can take you into another mental stage...your mind is the limit to where you want to be!
This is rare, you managed to make a mix with all my favorite trance tunes since 2003! Real trance will never die for me
We are very happy to hear that! ;) ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Avengers Jeep & Adonimus.
If you're still bumping this in 2019, you're in the future listening to oldies but goodies! Welcome.
Still listening to this amazing Trance mix in 2024. My favourite one from start to finish.
I used to listen to Walking on Clouds driving into town knowing the night lay ahead.....the anticipation, the friends, the vibe the Trance. I miss it :)
Mark Appleyard best trance track ever made
@@fookayou8607 you talking about Mark Appleyard the skateboarder lol
Truly miss the golden years. There was nothing like going to these shows live back then. So glad I got to experience it.
im 39 and the golden age is just in front of us. sure the 2000th were great , we had a great youth, but the times gets better and better and i dont see why so few people see this.
Indeed, when I listen to the trance tracks of 2003-2008 and compare them to the contemporary ones, I just can't help but agree with you that the best years of trance are gone.
Found this like 9 years ago. Amazing love to listen too. I just melt into my seat and drive. So warming
Trance from the mid 2000s is just different. I would say, the last period of REAL beautiful harmonic Trance music. Trance fans with "that ear" and exquisite taste would agree.
24.04.2024 ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I listen this so many years. Love it. Really.
Thank You Sir...Been awhile since I've been able to dance and cry at the same time...Seriously feel good music
This is one of the best compilations ever; it embodies what trance is all about.
2022 baby, still amazing. Thank you, Hope you are all well dear Trance friends
Классные треки 🙌💃👌✌👏👏👏👍я просто в улёте, хвала создателю 🙋
Same zajebistosci , aż miło posłuchać w 2023 roku
А 2024 ещё приятнее братишка!
@@fookayou8607 Guys check the music on Pulsar label, its wonderful!

I'm crying, we need THIS trance back, not the shitty EDM we have nowadays
i totally agree. its sad to see that anymore we see ppl on stage just mashing buttons making noises. and the current generation loves thay shit lol its garbage.

Hi!:) Can you listen this track ruclips.net/video/3dKXxuqcLSA/видео.html and leave a comment? Please!:) 🙏🏼
Oh my God, that opening song...great choice. Nostalgic moment.
When i saw this i remembered why Tiesto is what he is, amazing mix
oh my god!! Walking on Clouds!!! cant describeee how many memoriees this song brings!! love loooooove this song so deeply!!!!!
Finally some good music.. why is it so hard to find stuff like this ??
Not Anymore ;) ... ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Avengers Jeep & Adonimus.
I still return back to this masterpiece. Such a great mix. My all time favorite. I have this mix connected with positive vibes and feelings
Brillant 💖 I also recommend the brilliant new Trance 💖 *MCH - Loading* 💖

Right back atcha fella :-)
More than twenty years time since I listen trance music, and for sure this music will never get old, some periods is little bit down others up, but always we have some track that we keep in our brains and minds.
Lots of awesome tracks in the modern day, amongst many bad ones, but NOTHING will ever compare to th golden age. This fact mixed with a bit of nostalgia brings back the magic.
I've listened to this playlist so many times while doing home work and I love how it opens and closes with Tiesto.....plus it's full of amazing hits!!!
I've listened to this - beginning to end - maybe 3 or 4 times now and it hasn't stopped being amazing. One of the best things I've heard on RUclips.
I've known this mix for a few years and can't get enough of it. Best trance mix ever🥰
Ce soir, avec ma famille réunie à Noël, nous écoutons ce mix en jouant au ping-pong et en buvant de la vodka citron. Best time ever.

When it started with "walking on clouds" I knew right then and there that this mix was going to be a masterpiece. Golden Age, indeed. The best of the best. Thanks for bringing us back.
This person knows some of the best and even underrated tracks
I feel so lucky to have been exposed to trance during this golden age. It was Zocalo in 2009 that introduced me to trance. I didn't realize just how good it was back then
i mean its literally top result if you search trance
Really is the Golden Age of Trance-This Music Really Made You be in Love again :)
I discovered trance when I was a kid, I´m 23 now. Old cds, dream dance, future trance etc. driving with my dad and my bro listening to this exciting masterwork. Wish I could have lived in that era, if someone discovers a time machine ... pls I even buy a ticket from you. ♥♥♥
