Nice guide. A couple things I'd highlight:
Inpaint Area: Using "Whole picture" won't actually touch any part of the image outside of your mask. It will essentially use the context of the entire image to make changes to the masked region, whereas "Only masked" will only look at the masked region to generate the change. There's some behind the scenes upscaling and downscaling for the work A1111 is doing for "Only masked" but the final image won't have any changes outside the masked region.
I'm surprised you didn't talk about Denoising, as that's a pretty critical parameter for inpainting. The higher you set the denoising, the more the masked area will be adjusted. If you're totally changing the area, you'll pretty much want a 1 for denoising and you'd reduce it further and further the closer the existing masked area is to what you want.
Just some things I thought were worth mentioning, I enjoy your videos.
Loved your explanation, very helpful thank you soo much!
Bro this is all gold as per usual 👏
Thank you for the extremely detailed explanations and the plentiful examples.
This is one of the best tutorials i've seen, great work!
thank you!
I LOVE YOU, YOU JUST MADE MY WORLD MUCH BETTER THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Hello, thank you for explaining the img2img tab! However, I was wondering if you could explain the script area at the bottom in detail? for example prompts from file or textbox
Hi, I can't find a solution to this problem other than having the old version of SD. As you can see my preview on the right is really too small. Is there a way to make it bigger?
Was going to ask about denoising but it wasnt covered
How do you get those masks in generated results together with output image?
What model do u use! I using sdxl but not good results using image to image! No near!
Using 1.5 which is still the most popular
What is the difference between sketch and inpaint sketch?
Inpaint sketch lets you use color to provide additional context to the inpainting
What do i do if the Interrogate CLIP option is not there?
Probably in the UI settings, but i'll look into it and pin a comment
