Thanks,, Great information,,,, I have a 1997 2054 turbo that I am working on. Opened the start assembly and the spark plug wire flopped on on the floor,, Last service person did not use the built in retainer for securing the plug wire which is not screwed into the top of the coil.. Hummmm, might be a great clue as to why the saw wouldn’t run and no spark! So I am learning how to service it myself. Thanks to the wonderful info on RUclips I am nearly finished repairing this great old chain saw, that I have owned for 23 yrs. It’s interesting and Fun.
