3rd gameplay as Jarek one of the last members from black dragon clan, as a black dragon member he has kano moves, and fatalities too, I can say that Jarek is a kano ver 2.0, you will know more about him watching his ending.

What's the problem with maximum damage?

Jarek was Polish. I read it in an interview with the developers in '97.
I'm almost certain that they replaced kano with jarek at the last moment. He got the cannonball, lazer eyes and the pull your heart out fatality.
Pretty much. I think they just wanted more new characters. In my opinion, they should've just gone with Kano.

The eye laser thing also only makes sense with Kano. Sort of.
Reiko was also supposed to be noob saibot from what i’ve heard..which is weird because you can play with him i think
@@ShinDarkShadowNoob is only selectable in the console ports (and in MK Gold but in Gold he’s like way less functional).

I feel like they should give Jarek a second chance. Make him more unique like they did in Armageddon, with some Kano elements carried over somewhat, but help him stand out on his own as well somehow.
I still don't get how some characters became somehow relevant and Jarek was just ripped off the roster when Jarek is one of the most MK like characters made, it's probably due that Kano spin attack however I fell like Jarek own moves are way better than the ones Kano similarity.

Pois é, a fala final praticamente se baseia nisso falando que jarek é um dos senão o ultimo dos membros do clã do Kano que é os black dragon traficantes de armas. É daquele jeito né quanto maior a vida maior será a pancadaria haha.

MK4 is kind of the bastard child of MK. MK3 was pretty cool with all of the combos in 2d and MK5 was pretty good with the 3d stuff, but it looks like they hadn't figured out the 3d stuff so well in MK4. Still liked it, just not as much as the rest. Quan Chi's fatality where he ripped of the leg and beat the crap out of his victim is my all time favorite though.

IMO i didn't like Kano. He was cliche villain with coward Attitude. Jarek was the same but with some unique backatory. You know last black dragon member who is abandomed a try to face reality alongside with former enemies. Too bad ending and further story spoil this plotential.
