This theme has that cheesy 90s feel but at least it makes you feel like your in a test facility for cars with the rev of the engine and mechanical bangs and clanks of machinery
I love the new version, I think it's great; but I'll always have a nostalgic memory of crash test dummies getting destroyed whilst this banging medley played in the queue.
Nathan Fleming Yup! Unfortunately there was a common problem with the barrier test section where the spring holding the doors would pop off. Unfortunately I had to experience that and it literally disappeared OUT OF NO WHERE!
Nathan Fleming IKR!!! IM SO BAFFLED!!! IT ANNOYS THE CRAP OUTTA ME WHEN SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO ME DISAPPEARA FROM UNDER MY FINGERS LIIIIKKKEEEEE WHAAAAT???!
I love both versions, but listening to this one makes me miss the old one. I miss when there were 2 different ways you could go for that second to last test. I remember when I did walk into the new one for the first time I loved it all due to being a geek and loving that lobby queue music (the one you cant find anywhere). But I have more memories with this ride
@@gamer832xbox3 If i remember correctly, yes. Look to the right when you are about to enter the second to last testing zone with all the turns. There was a course A and course B. If you remember the old ride, or if you watch a video it's right after the hot and cold tests.
@@togatomato All the times I rode the old version of the ride (which was a LOT), it always went to A, through the tight hairpins and the oncoming truck in the tunnel. I would have to assume B just goes to storage or maintenance or something; I can't imagine there were actually two tracks to the ride itself. Have you ever seen footage of track course B?
@ whatthefraggingheck: Test track is still operating at epcot but the new version looks like it jumped out of a tron video game whereas the original one made you feel like you were at a general motors testing facility therefore it seemed more real but yes the original one was much better and it made epcot feel more like epcot.
My dad was a GM engineer. The first Test Track was a serious emulation of GM vehicle testing process in ride format. Even interior decor of the queue area actually felt like being inside GM facilities. The new version is a child’s toy for new generations with attention spans of a goldfish…
No. It doesn't. There isn't even a preshow other than "We're Chevrolet...Here's some concept cars that probably won't make it to production. Oh and by the way, you can make your own car."
I'm not the poster, but I was able to find Test Track Medley on the CD Walt Disney World Resort Official Album from the year 2000: www.amazon.com/Disney-World-Resort-Official-Album/dp/B0007A1HVY/ref=pd_sbs_15_2/144-9095990-8530342?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0007A1HVY&pd_rd_r=8a05cdd6-850f-409d-8eb6-644fe151fd14&pd_rd_w=QM3UV&pd_rd_wg=c7G71&pf_rd_p=b65ee94e-1282-43fc-a8b1-8bf931f6dfab&pf_rd_r=Q0W58JT3CMR28V8RY652&psc=1&refRID=Q0W58JT3CMR28V8RY652 and here's a link to a similar album: www.amazon.com/Disney-World-Resort-Official-Album/dp/0763406899/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=walt+disney+world+resort+official+album&qid=1601383865&sr=8-2
There is a cd, but I can’t remember its name. My brother owned it years ago on a cd with this, Splash Mountain Medley, Haunted Mansion and all sorts of rides. Space Mountain too I think. Awesome cd for the old school Disney park fans. 😁
Listen yall, both versions have their ups and downs, but if the ride changes again then what? Will it be better that both? Worae than both? Better than one? We cant decide beacause its a matter of opinion. Enjoy the music. Stop arguing about an amusment park ride.
I miss the first version of test track as well. But you are missing the point for the new one. Epcot is not only about education but showcasing as well. Its all about todays businesses contributing there thoughts for tomorrow. Like Chevy wants people to view that by using test track to explain to guest how the auto industry is being reshaping to consumer needs with results. The old story of test track GM wanted to explain how your vehicles go through tough testing before they go on the street.
@Edward Lee Miller Actually, you do learn something in the new one. You get to try your hand at being a designer and use your imagination to shape tomorrow's mobility. And the use of the SimCar and the SimTrack represent how computer simulations are used to test vehicle designs in today's world.
How do you even compete against this? It still blows my mind to this day they did away with all this and modernized the whole ride and did away with this kick ass song and how we get that boring repetitive Chevy song.
Someone had to say it! Imagine being in a standby line, for an hour or so straight listening to this, getting more frustrated as you hear the muffled over-bassed bur bur bue bur bur bur in the beginning over and over again, while the SA school groups/fiesta quinceañera start playing the random clapping game again for the 15th time in 20 minutes. Like the queue would be great, if not for this.
I'll give old Test Track this; the pre-show didn't require an additional 20 minute wait because a monitor blue-screened...
This theme has that cheesy 90s feel but at least it makes you feel like your in a test facility for cars with the rev of the engine and mechanical bangs and clanks of machinery
I am so happy this exists in the RUclips world. Thank you for posting
I love the new version, I think it's great; but I'll always have a nostalgic memory of crash test dummies getting destroyed whilst this banging medley played in the queue.
*"Hey, did you forget to turn off that robot?"*
aziraphale pfp?!
My mom used to work on the old test track so sometimes I play this song just to annoy her 😂
I don't dislike the new Test Track. I actually like it. However, I do miss the metallic clangs, this track, and the older style. This tune is gold!
And the banging from that big machine after you got off the ride. I am genuinely nostalgic for that.. and the scent.
I love both versions of Test Track, but I love original version more than the current 2012 version.
I’m opening an unopened, very rare, mint condition TestTrack Slot car set from 1999! 20years!!!!!
Itz_gray_ 2018 plz tell me u have photos?
Nathan Fleming Yup! Unfortunately there was a common problem with the barrier test section where the spring holding the doors would pop off. Unfortunately I had to experience that and it literally disappeared OUT OF NO WHERE!
Itz_gray_ 2018 ahh, that sucks!

Itz_gray_ 2019 RIGHT! Sorry man!

@@MantosXC same here , all the videos I saw it always took path A , so maybe path B doesn’t exist
Path B is the maintenance area. Doesn't actually exist.
who likes the old one better?
Me!
Erockbar1 Roblox same
I don’t remember it much because I was young
me...great memories
I like both equally!! It’s SO hard to choose!! But the old one at LEAST had heat and cold!! 😤
I wish they kept that!
I am not fussy I love it all new and old!!!
The original test track definitely had better music and the ride looked like a general motors facility which was awesome.
WE BEING CRASH TEST DUMMYS WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Man, I wish I could find an extended version of that first part
This is when disney was a good company
Wearing with headphones is pretty cool! You can hear all the tests!
RIP George Wilkins, the composer of this song.
Sounds like sonic level
Rest in Pieces, Test Track.
Coldfire242 Not necessarily lol
It’s still around
Just Test Track 1.0, not the entire attraction as a whole.

thank u it brings back memories
Sure made my day better.
it was such a great queue area and great music...and such a fun ride! I've yet to go on the updated Test Track, heard it's pretty cool.
This song fit for a car testing area! I miss it a bit!
My dad was a GM engineer. The first Test Track was a serious emulation of GM vehicle testing process in ride format. Even interior decor of the queue area actually felt like being inside GM facilities. The new version is a child’s toy for new generations with attention spans of a goldfish…

This music makes me kinda miss the old one
This is the real test track
Disney magical racing (test track finding the coins)
So out of curiosity, how on Earth where able to get this song in very good quality? I haven't seen any Disney album with this song.
I'm not the poster, but I was able to find Test Track Medley on the CD Walt Disney World Resort Official Album from the year 2000: www.amazon.com/Disney-World-Resort-Official-Album/dp/B0007A1HVY/ref=pd_sbs_15_2/144-9095990-8530342?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0007A1HVY&pd_rd_r=8a05cdd6-850f-409d-8eb6-644fe151fd14&pd_rd_w=QM3UV&pd_rd_wg=c7G71&pf_rd_p=b65ee94e-1282-43fc-a8b1-8bf931f6dfab&pf_rd_r=Q0W58JT3CMR28V8RY652&psc=1&refRID=Q0W58JT3CMR28V8RY652 and here's a link to a similar album: www.amazon.com/Disney-World-Resort-Official-Album/dp/0763406899/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=walt+disney+world+resort+official+album&qid=1601383865&sr=8-2

Isn’t this from walt disney world magical racing tour for PS1v?
back from when test track was awesome. it sucks now.
what genre would this music be?
Wanted Wario I want to say 90's mixed with Early 2000's.
Banger music lol get it?
Cheese
industrial
not joking here
Techno
This theme feels what the 2000s were like nothing else.
theres no way they'll change this back. just look at Imagination!
Whoops
ZergeiTV this is so funny haha
Listen yall, both versions have their ups and downs, but if the ride changes again then what? Will it be better that both? Worae than both? Better than one? We cant decide beacause its a matter of opinion.
Enjoy the music. Stop arguing about an amusment park ride.
Why does this sound like a boss battle theme?
Because it is. For the car.
(oh and the test dummies...)
The old/original version was/is objectively superior.
Never rode the old one was to scared I just make it in my mind and it works
Try the Album "Four Parks - One World". It's two discs containing music from all four parks. It's dated, but for what it has, it's great.
You can get it on this album
four parks one world www.amazon.com/dp/B002IE4UIE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_TEqJwbKWZCFWK
for $969... oof
Where can I buy this
This sounds like The Crystal Method song.
this is 90s as hell lmao
Will you post the new music when the ride reopens?

The new version is on itunes
4 parks one world album on Amazon
are you suggesting they construct a vehicle for every person who rides this ride ever?
Would anyone know where I can I something with this song? I'm checking places but can't find it anywhere.
Love this!
Who likes the new one better?
Instagram Reels be like:
#OttoPlugnut #MagicalRacingTour
I've been on the new one. there's nothing exciting about it. at least that was my experience.
Almost made me vomit when I was younger waiting in line for an hour...
people saying the new test track isn't as good, but don't you think it fits the park's Future World better?
yes
Also that they announced a brand new future world coming and I feel the upgraded this ride to see how it went and it did really well
@Edward Lee Miller Actually, you do learn something in the new one. You get to try your hand at being a designer and use your imagination to shape tomorrow's mobility.
And the use of the SimCar and the SimTrack represent how computer simulations are used to test vehicle designs in today's world.
Epcot is supposed to be futuristic. Even though I liked the old one, 2.0 looks amazing. 1.0 was outdated.
Bruhhhhh this makes me dislike tron track listening 12 years later
I like the new one better
How do you even compete against this? It still blows my mind to this day they did away with all this and modernized the whole ride and did away with this kick ass song and how we get that boring repetitive Chevy song.
Not even remotely similar to test track 2.0's theme
this is the worst wait I understand that in disney you have to wait long time in a disney ride this is the worst wait
michael mike unless you have fastpass
New version is far superior. This was headache inducing.
I argue that they're both great due to the fact that they fit their respective themes. I personally prefer the old theme.
I watch this video all the time, so it's not uncommon for me to be here.
Someone had to say it! I officially hate old test track's music. Sorry!
