Cool! My school had old fire bells too! It was replaced with spec alert advances in 2016 when I was in 3rd grade. They had also changed the pulll station to notifier bg12s. And I’m pretty
sure there is one classic in the boiler room but I’m not sure. Now I’m in 8th grade and the alarms in that school are old Edwards alarms. With notifier bg12s as the pull station and the newer part of the building and renovated classrooms mostly science has spec alert advances. My preschool also had spec alert advances as well.

Most of the replacement there was me and three electricians and one or two fire alarm techs. Not sure how I could show the programming as I’m usually not involved with that because I am usually working on the physical side throughout the school and they create the program a head of time sometimes and then just dump it into the panel and yes there was a map of what Devices had what address throughout the building

    THis brings me back.
The building I attended the first half of elementary school and the whole of middle school was built in the fifties. The whole bell and fire-alarm system was upgraded in the mid nineties, but they decided to retain the out door bells. The indoor bells remained , but like much of the old tech in the building, they were only disconnected, never removed.
The hallways still had the massive electric air heaters that were made obsolete by HVAC.
The building still exists, but has since become the school district's administration building, where as the gyms have been opened up to city use. It saddens me knowing that the unique underground locker rooms have since been bricked over for safety reasons.
