Let me tell You my story
one year ago I was almost depressed because of my career. I had a lot of self doubts, my English was horrible and I wasn't enjoying engineering so I dropped out from my college.
But in lock down I learnt marketing from Google and RUclips, honestly I don't have degree, but right now I am working in one of the best film production in India and got featured on (Josh Skills RUclips channel)

It depends on how you choose to frame the speech, but try and stick to a formal tone and choose your vocabulary accordingly.

How can u thank in a welcome address? coz it comes in the vote of thanks. I'm not sure about this just asking a doubt.
A welcome speech ideally marks the start of an occasion, formal or informal. Be it weddings, corporate events, lectures or parties, among other occasions, you can hardly go wrong with thanking the guests for their presence. In fact, doing so postively contributes to the vibe of the speech, and thus the event.

Yes, even though a podcast is virtual, the welcome should include greetings, before talking about the topic of discussion.

It depends on which capacity you’re speaking for the celebrity in. If you are on a first-name terms with the person, then you can use a slightly informal tone of voice. If not, then try using a formal tone of voice.
