I love how I watch these boss tutorial videos fully well knowing my a$$ will never fight them, just cause I know every time I try, I forget all the mechanics as soon as I enter the room and get one shot.
Yeah it's weird, haha. No idea why just blocking lowers you enough for the swing to miss, but it's the most consistent strat I've noticed. Happy to help!
Small revision now that we know, at least right now the spectral bag does NOT use a standard coin bag, and you must get new trolls pelt/wolf pelt for it just so everyone knows. Fairly easy to sell your old bags to fund the purchase of the pelts though
the only way to dodge the high horizontal slash consistently is to crouch in very close range and you don't even have to look down but you need to be close like within dagger range or touching. So you can use it as a free dps window that way.
Hey I'm a rogue main and I've been practicing this boss fight almost a hundred times now and the only way I've been dying is to the High horizontal slash. It's easy to spot the move and then duck, but I STILL get HEADSHOTTED somehow and I don't know how to avoid this. I've tried Looking downwards, upwards, crouching first, ducking first, doing both at the same time, and none have proven consistent. I've concluded it is simply lag because I would have no idea what else it could possible be. Any help with this?
@@GaroShadowscaleBold RIP, Thank you for the reply! The only way I found to avoid this issue was to simply react faster, which can prove difficult. Especially for Rogue mains.

See what skin ur using. That inconsistency can be because of the different hitbox of the panther skin. Very weird by ironmace to change hitboxes
True! I was using the lizardman skin, but I think I had similar issues while human too sadly

I had the same issue. crouch blocking diagonally up was the only consistent solution I could find
