    Its crazy just how wonky hit boxes can be in this game. IronMace will prob never fix this because longsword players are the only ones who suffer from this.

      I guess it’s shields too. But not as often for sure

      Ye cause shields are massive compared to longsword so the wonky hitboxes are more likely to get blocked anyways​@@92F0XBody

      @@92F0XBody that as well.... basically fighter suffers, sometimes barbs and clerics but they actually usually benefit instead of get punished by it

      Either they need to help partying or they should increase armor stats on plate. Movement is meta because armor doesn’t do enough. I’m wearing full green plate with additional armor and some vigor. My character will die to 4-5 rouge stabs or wiz bonks even before they’ve melted half my ho with range mechanics you pretty much have to hope they get cocky and too close even then they can just skirt away

    0:49 there’s is a way to parry it more easily by jumping and looking at the right hand side end of his body from your pov

    You make the parrying part look so easy! I gotta say, you're picking a different spot every time you block phase transition instead of copying the spot that worked last time, and it's so tilting lmao

    when he does the low there you are looking to the right, when i block it from that close of range you need to look on the right side of his model and down

    The way you block the sword pointing up with buckler is walking two to three steps away from where his head is, kind of like what you do for the cape. Crouch, look to where the sword is coming from and a small bit down and hold block. This also works the same with the parry (tried and tested and hasn't failed unless my parry aim was off but that's user error). The sword pointed down though, I'm not entirely sure doing both at the same angle is what you want. Blocking the sword down you go behind like you've been trying and look up slightly, but longsword is different which is why it's probably so inconsistent doing both on the same side. The front face is super consistent tried and tested so much. I have an idea as I am writing this that I'm going to test (sword down going behind cape and looking a little further down and left while crouching like when he does the low sweep normally) to see if I am just a little off. I will come back and lyk if it is good or not so you can kind of save the trouble of learning and just practice or test it out yourself and see if you can't find better ways

      Yes! Doing the way you did it when his sword is pointed down works and seems to be consistent. Go to his cape, take about 3 steps away, crouch and look right about 45-60 degrees and down slightly while holding parry it'll do it. When sword is up, go to his head and then 2 to 3 steps and look about 90 degrees right and slightly down.

    Looked like the camera was too low to see the high swing. For the low when his sword is extended it has gaps where there is nothing physically connecting the pieces of the blade together. So I think you just happened to be facing the right way/at the right distance, where a gap that starts from around the end of his normal sword length extended past your camera, keeping the rest of the blade from view and why it looked similar to a normal low horizontal swing

    When sparky has to struggle for a while to get a decent hit box, you know it’s not an easy one. At least I don’t feel as bad messing up mine a bunch. Also, do you run more normals with decent gear or hr atm since there’s no seasonal bs yet

    So many negative comments about how the game is a mess and nothing is working properly when you just haven't learned the mechanics yet, streamers get way too in their heads about this stuff

    for the guy asking, IRL you're gonna get nowhere even NEAR a guy with ANY sword if you have a dagger, and on the offchance you do, they always have one handy, dagger is a LAST RESORT type of weapon not designed to actually outfight anything, only as a weapon for "oh shit" moments where you have literally no other choice, NONE of the daggers should get even CLOSE to killing any class if we're being honest here because range almost always wins, up to a point and with exceptions

      frankly, fighting daggers is aids in dark and darker, it ruins the game and fighter wasn't the issue it was the daggers and surv bow spam, action speed and move speed ruin the game because you can still reach max damage cap with it meaning you can achieve DPS higher than weapons designed to hit hard or breaks ones that are designed for their special use cases, making niche classes and builds useless and anyone running PDR is rendered pointless because they just get one or best case two shot by every single class in the game making it completely redundant (even with health boosts the most you can hope to tank is three hits) the melee in this game is BEYOND trash, worse than even for honor, and the ranged and move speed are a problem, without those options (IE plate fighter after the nerf and the second sprint's initial two seconds are over or barb or warlock with PDR in general) a class becomes completely useless, a literal dummy for target practice incapable of fighting back in any way except for potentially an occasional sad ranged attack or two throughout an entire fight unless they sacrifice their functionality as a tank (which they are void of due to magic damage, magic pen, armor penetration phys dam bonus and true phys and magic rolls)

      TLDR daggers and ranged are the problem with the meta, it wasn't fighter, it was always ranged and dexterity based weaponry cutting people down faster than they could even react

    Bosses in this game just aren't fun. Queue up, find boss, get one shot, repeat. Learn the boss, boss isn't fun to fight, get trash loot, die to rat players outside the door.

      I hate when its a boss in deeper layers. If i wanna fight the boss in hell im Forced to wait at least 20 minutes for the doors to open.
