Mint video mate, I have a 4door e46 323i, just pulled subframe out reinforced mounts, changed to 3.91 diff & 320d axles, just putting it back together so excited to drive it. Cheers from Australia
Why 320d axles ?
@@zidewayz the deisel axles are solid and not hollow , apparently less likely to break
What year is it? I have the same one in ‘99 and apparently it uses e36 brakes lol so my seems legit garage dual calliper bracket doesn’t work until I get e46 brakes. Do you have the same problem?
I paid $100 for my e46 like 2 years ago manual swapped it and I beat the crap out of it! 240k miles
You should try 3.0 cams they fit in the 2.5
All the clutch kicks 😂
Looks like big fun was had
I have a 2.8 with a 3.46 and i love it. Keep rippin and love the videos man!
Same diff as me but i have a 325i
Are condor bushings compatible with a 320ci e46?
Yes they are
Hey Micah, question about the SLR setup. I just installed the ultra on my e46 and was curious what you set your lollipop to as a base setting? (All the way in?, four turns out from all the way in, etc)
It's winter here so I can't go and test out different settings and I want to figure out how much to trim my front bumper. A few turns of the lollipop makes a big enough difference in terms of bumper interference. This is on a daily drifter not a comp car FYI
Thanks
I’m not Micah but on my e36 drift car I removed the nut and ran the threads all the way in
Then I put the nut on the out side where the threads are exposed.
@@dillonaron14 seems like the front wheels would interfere with the headlights if I did that!
@Old Man Clemens it will require some trimming of the bumper it’s personal preference. Personally I like a lot of caster.
That clutch pedal was like . What I ever do to u man
is that a square wheel set up or whats the wheel specs? 18x9.5?
Sup Micah, do you know if the flares you have fit the wagon rear?
Micha, a friend of mine has a manual E60 530i for $2500. It sounds like it has a dead cylinder when cold, after the engine warms up it runs smooth. What do you think the problem could be? What would some recommended mods?
Idk man if I could diagnose cars through text I’d be a millionaire. So many factors. Try to find the dead cylinder. Then try and figure out what’s cause the dead cylinder
Your car looks def. a bit faster but to be ohnest still weak and even this 330 on 3,45 is not so powerfull as it should be. I don;t know on what tires were you running but my compact on 3,38 and 225/17's rips second like crazy and needs few kicks to link longer curves ON 3RD. Look on my onboards Micah if you would to. I personaly think, that your 325 should be running like this 330...I would diagnose it further.
if you or anyone else finds what it is ... im struggling like that aswell on straight/dyno its all good but when drifting its so gutless when it wasn't before (i did 3 event and i could drift in 3rd and now same tires and no power to drift even 2nd gear)
>.< as a stock boi this hurt my soul lol. What does a 3.64 diff come out of a X3?
Keep in mind this is a 325. The 330 is a way better motor
@@MicahDiaz Do you plan on swapping a 330 in this 325 chassis?
I believe that was an M3 ratio
Yes man do that 3.0 swap
E46 Gang
I thought it was a 3ltr,my guy just swap in a 3.0 asap, they have forged crank and rods,so turbo it and safley run 350-400hp on pump.
I would say take some weight off your e46. I wouldn’t bother with a 3.0 I would get a 5.3 budget swap even a 4.8
