I’m glad you guys are okay. From one camper to another, I’d consider investing in walkie talkies for situations like these when there’s zero service. Also not sure if your drone has one, but I’d install a tracker on it.

what-a-rollercoaster!!! first i'm thinking how nice it is to see you two having a together moment and enjoy each other's company, and it makes me feel good inside. then i see lila crying and my heart is broken to see her like that. somehow, when you were on the path back, i suspected something like that might happen. i can only imagine how hard that must have been for you to see. virtual hugs to both of you from me. maybe you already thought of it, but if your stuff ever gets wet like that again, just go to a Laundromat. $2 and a 1/2 hour of your time, and you'll have dry things again. every town has a Laundromat. your channel is a business. buy insurance for your equipment. talk to an agent, they can help you. love you guys, i'm glad lila recovered quickly, and you seemed to be ok.
Teared up seeing and hearing Lila tell her story. I’m terrified just picturing it, could not imagine actually being in her shoes. WOW, that was quite a ride! I was honestly afraid for you both and SO glad you found each other without anything bad happening. Seeing Lila so upset really was heartbreaking and again, so glad you're okay. I'm so happy you gals are taking a little break to regroup. If you pushed thru, you may not have enjoyed any part of the rest of the trip! Sorry about your drone, but things can be replaced, and people cannot. Also I started cracking up because I thought that was a hugh yellow potatoe chip on your shoulder...hahaha. Way to go Lila it will get easier and easier the more you truck camp. Sounds so relaxing. you could feel how scared she was, glad she is ok and found each other, definitely a learning lesson never separate, get her to a safe place like at the vehicle, if you are more outdoors knowledgeable set a plan in place then go for the drone, lesson to all in this video the outcome was good but the emotional terror you could see and feel it.

you should invest in a set of FRS Radios for situations like this. Kinda like a walkie talkie but 1 mile range. We use them all the time when in places with zero cell reception. They are pretty cheap to buy and seriously the strat in a situation when you get split up.

always stay calm. learn location as in north, south, east or west, and or direction from truck you are traveling. get a set of walkie talkies. good ones. always stay calm. hiking shoes/boots. keep a good first aid kit suited for what you are doing. when hiking a snake bit kit should be kept. signal horns. they work at scaring away big cats or dogs or bears depending on where you are. always stay calm. my wife and i enjoy watching your videos. stay safe. if your going together, stay together. all of these things are a must in your adventures. and maybe some ground maps of where you are. always be prepared for those spontaneous explorations. keeping those at hand on the truck because you cant plan everything. watching from missouri

Poor Lilah 😢 Take some marking tape with you next time. Tie some to branches along your path so you can find you way out. Learned that up in Northern Maine at my Dads hunting camp and my Dad ended up getting lost. Scary situation for sure! Glad you guys are okay!

I hope you complete your waterfall challenge! As for tips..idk if you already do this but download the area of the map of where you'll be when you have service. Good idea when splitting up with no communication..hopefully only in well known places always give a time/place of when/where you're meeting back up and a x amt of cushion time. That way there's no need to panic until said time. I know they're pricy but look into those sos 2way gps devices for extra safety, Also ps you said a while back to keep you on track if you're eating bad..I hope to see more healthier foods in the future haha

You know what I like about youBecca is that your not afraid to take on the word scarey. I swear if you were driving down an isolated road and came upon a sign that said extreme danger. For your safety do not enter, you would back up your truck take a good run at it, knock the sign down and go on in to see what lies ahead.
You can get 2 way radios that will work to communicate in situations like that
Glad things ended well. Lyla was shook. I don't blame her. My wife would have never let me forget that moment. It would come up all time. Scary just thinking about it. LOL Can I suggest some walkie talkies. I use them all the time when fishing with buddies and we wonder off trying to find fish and no cell service.
Glad your both ok and no physical injuries! It's scary when in the woods and your separated from your partner or group no doubt. Then you hear them calling for you and this situation could be getting worse. Fortunately you two have level heads and worked it out. Some drones are not as good as others. Live and learn i guess. Today is the first day of summer I cleaned up last night with a over due shave / hair cut. lol

Poor Lila when she got back to the car and said "i thought i´d lost you" . I felt her pain. Take the time to completely dry out the truck , a mouldy mattress is no fun. All the best.
