  • Winding inductors and toroids in Blender! This is a procedural toroid maker using #geometrynodes. I wish it was like that in real life.
"ElectroMag Nodes" are set Geometry Node groups for solving and simulating electromagnetic equations
You will be able design inductors, coils and magnetics and visualise their magnetic fields and calculate their inductance. You will also be able study electrostatics, visualise electrics fields of objects, calculate potentials, surface charge density and capacitance.
These set of nodes will be useful especially for students to better understand electromagnetics, which can be a difficult topic to study and learn. It will also be useful for electrical engineers who design circuit boards, and components.

I don’t have a single idea how this can be used at all. what profession do you need to have to work with modeling a toroidal inductor so often to do a procedure for this

I create renders and animations of electronics and circuit boards, and so being able to generate models of components quickly is important instead of manually drawing them
