And for those that have watched Whitechapel, will remember the episode of the chocolatier. He wanted love but ended up killing them and dismembering them. I would love to hear more stories like these 🙌
This was extraordinary. Martha was a Victorian stalker who clearly had mental health issues. I had never heard about this before. Many thanks for your thorough research.
I'm on the fence about AI. You mention that you use AI where no contemporary imagery is available, which means it's just a guess. For all we know he had a mustache.
My opinion: I'm not a huge fan of AI myself but I don't think the fact that people got along fine without something in the past is sufficient reason to not use it in the future. The AI is a little uncanny but it's an interesting choice and I think he's done a good job of using it to enhance the characters.
No. I prefer the contemporary descriptions e.g. slight shabby young man with a ginger moustache, or a stoutly built woman of 45, genteelly dressed in green silk and a sealskin cape.
Sorry but I loathe the use of AI in creative content. It has no place as it can't actually create anything itself, it can only pilfer from existing material. It really doesn't add anything to these videos either. Your wonder narration is enough xx
Human beings are much the same in every era aren't we. His devotion to his wife is so touching. God Bless their memory.
"Arousing his suspicions" no pun intended lol. Thoroughly enjoyed this, thank you 😊

Nice to hear of a man who wouldn't cheat on his wife. Martha should have left him alone, stayed home and tended to her children.
Thank you, Mr. Jones, for another great vid! Love them all! ❤
Good one Richard
Excellent story telling. I wonder why the pharmacist did not tell her that the beetle was dangerous? Did he ask her why she wanted it? How odd.
Its sad to think everyone in the story is dead. God bless them souls 🙏
Brilliant 👏 I really enjoyed this. You do tell a great story
I'd just like to mention how much I enjoy your content and research. Thanks!
“His wife ate the tart and has been under mr Cornelius ever since “ some stuff this Spanish fly 😮😮😊
I'm glad you spotted that! I had to chuckle as I was recording it. An unfortunate choice of words.
Yeah, get that algorithmic remuneration my son!
Fascinating place, time and story! TY 🌻💜

I enjoyed the added visual media in this video.
Thank you for giving the viewer a heads-up that AI is standing in for sparce contemporary visuals.
The fascinating thing about this story, I believe Oscar Wilde mentions this area of theaters in The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Excellent!
I enjoyed this, it must have taken you ages to do… loved the AI
loved this.
Great story! The AI adds more interest. 😊
Seems the AI is like Marmite. You either love it or hate it! Personally I love it.
love this Jack the Ripper RUclips channel who was Jack the Ripper that is my question and love the narrator

Fascinating story. I like the way your use of AI adds to the tale as well, bringing the characters to life. Nicely done.
My opinion: stop with the AI. It isn't needed. History documentaries and programs have done just fine without it for as long as they have existed.
Totally agree!

I kept waiting for the baby reindeer😠
What a psycho
Another delightful tale courtesy of the best narrator ever! (Yes, better than Morgan Freeman et al)
Interesting story, but I don't like the AI.
👍
As much as I hate AI art it nesscary in cases were pictures of the people don't exist
