Like, Novocaine and Uma Thurman sounds way better live than the studio version. Also, the way Patrick sings Centuries in the studio sounds like a declaration while the way he sings here sounds like he's a bit angry.

Of course there’s gonna be differences. Live versions don’t need to sound like the studio version to be considered good. In fact some people prefer it when the live version has some faults like an occasional flat note or a voice crack as it shows humanity and vulnerability. Also, a studio setting is different than a live setting. If you make a mistake, you can erase it and redo it until you get it right. Finally, in the studio recording, their producers have implemented some treble in Patrick’s voice which makes it sound higher than it actually and treble emphasizes higher registers in tone.
