Somehow, I kinda agrees with you, even though I only have SSF4 with the arcade edition DLC on Xbox. The only reasons why I'll still play the standard SF4 sometimes, that's cause this game have more challenge mode contents, (and some missing achievements I still need to unlocks) while the update SSF4 ver. only have 24 trials per each characters, and limited to only two bonus stages. Beside, even SF5 lacks more challenge contents than both SF4 & SSF4 altogether.
Like the original last stage theme to this game, the Secret Underground Lab one, right. Yeah, to be honest, its quite catchy enough to proved like at the first round, he was like teasing you. Then til in the next round when you beat him during the 1st, the theme changed to little more dramatic as Seth is going all out this time, all full power. Even though, I thinks either the 1st or 2nd round of this stage theme became Seth's main theme for SSF4/USF4 since I believes the original Secret Lab stage is replaced with an Crumbling Lab stage and changed the whole stage to like in its final moment from before. Not sure if the 1st variants from the original SF4 were in it too, since I haven't played this game on Xbox in a long time.
I don't know if you noticed, but in the original 2008 version of Street Fighter 4, Seth is much more powerful than in later versions, both for the players and for the computer. His moves in this version have more damage and you can do several hits in a row, in addition to moves that were removed in the Super version
Well, he is the boss character to the original SF4 version, which really makes him so powerful to beat sometimes. I remember when I first played this on the Xbox 360 years while we did got Resident Evil 5 as our first, Seth usually whooped me badly enough, for like a few tries til I've finally understand how his patterns now already. So I guessed they've kinda toned him down for the Super / Ultra SF4 ver., yet he's still the main boss for either one anyway. I'm not sure for his SF5 version though, yet I would cares less about it though, even for the new SF6 game too... Both of them didn't have the same classical feels as much as SF2, SF3, SF4, and SF Alpha each.
I'm sure he is already, he's fan favorite boss character for this game, even I still enjoys playing him too, after taking a few practices in trials. His transgendered looks in SF5 is somewhat much disappointing, huh...
Esta es la versión original de SF4, mucho antes de que SF5 se hiciera solo en PS4, pero honestamente, todavía prefiero esta serie de juegos más que SF5. This is the original version of SF4, way before SF5 was made only on PS4, but honestly, I still prefers this game series more than SF5.
Neat, and I agreed, still the best than SF5. I remember asking my sister for this game decade ago when she first got an Xbox 360 with RE5 from her friend. Seth is interesting to play as, but to me, it's takes a little practices to remember each of his moves.
Tenía un personaje en mente para este jueves pronto si podía prepararlo temprano. btw, I'm currently still playing SSF4 on my Xbox One S once in a while per each Thursday for each different character playthroughs, so maybe I could plan to do Seth as my next character soon, since I've already played both Bison & Juri before him. I had one character in mind for this Thursday soon if I could get it ready early.
Well, it IS possible though, you first need to beat arcade mode with everyone else first, all available and secret characters unlocked each. Then replay arcade mode once again with any of your best characters you're good with so far, and reaches through the entire run by 1.) without having any continues or losing any single rounds at all, 2.) maybe at least a few super or ultra move finishes and/or a perfect. Once you've beat Seth at the end, be sure to check to see if Akuma appears as a secret boss at the end, if you have the conditions above all met. You also may need to beat him too, in order to unlock him afterward, otherwise if you did lose against him, then you'll had to do the whole thing again... Once you have Akuma unlocked, beat arcade mode as him first, then replay it once more for a second try with the same thing, only except, you need at least, 1.) no continues, 2.) don't lose any single rounds at all, 3.) have at least two or three perfect round wins, & 4.) have at least up to three or five Super or Ultra finishes. Once you've encountered the secret boss again in another run after beating Seth again with these conditions again, you should have Gouken as your secret boss instead of Akuma, beat him and you should be able to unlock him at least, and try not to lose at all... Difficulty won't be affected, but reaching Akuma or Gouken could be a little problems though as you do need at least some few Super of Ultra finishes though... I knows its quite a lot for this in order to unlocks both Akuma and Gouken each, so try to practices by trying out the trials challenge to boost up your skills on each characters for this game. Don't worry though, I'm sure you can do it, if you have the game that is though. Oh yeah, and Seth wil be unlockable after beating the game with all available and secret characters, including both Akuma and Gouken each too, any difficulty and continues won't matters.
