    My understanding is that the producers had to contact the creators of the show in order to find out how to end the show due to this scenario not having been played before. I believe even the creators never expected this outcome to happen of three traitors making it to the end, and so they added the traitors dilemma for this outcome. Part of me wonders why they couldn't just split the money without the dilemma, but then I suppose you want an exciting ending.
    And yes, the gameshow is called Golden Balls, here's the clip Kahuna was speaking about. ruclips.net/video/S0qjK3TWZE8/видео.html

      Thanks for the additional insights that's good to know. I can only imagine that they had to scramble at the end. It also explains a little bit more why maybe some of the traitors went to the end with the three of them in tact. I do think future traitors now knowing how the show could end with three them will play the game very differently. I can definitely also see how it would have hurt so much more to play a near flawless game only to be told at the end you don't earn anything by a twist that no one was aware off. It gives additional perspective.

    • @christianstanding
      @christianstanding Год назад +1

      @@thenullifiedtake Yeah, absolutely. I think this also forces the traitors to turn on each other in the end, whether right at the end, or throughout the season. Obviously, the best game play is to go to the final 7 or 6 in tact, then convince a fellow traitor to banish another traitor with you and the remaining faithfuls. And then to not recruit a new traitor. I do wonder at what point the producers decided on this, and how much various contestants could be told. Massive implications for the game depending if they were, and which of them were told too. If the faithfuls knew, it would imply they could then assume there were multiple traitors left. If the traitors were told, then they would have been dumb to not vote out one of their own earlier. If they only found out at the final, then kudos to the editors for making it seem like it was knowledge before the fact. Either way, whilst it can explain some of the reactions, I suspect it would fall under one of those "producers have the rights to change the rules at their discretion," type clauses. I would be curious to hear how it all happened from a production standpoint.

No woman likes to be made to look like a fool on a worldwide spectrum, especially as I speak for most human beings and both Male and Female. Period! nobody likes to be made to look like or to be a fool. Sam Is a Greedy Lying Optimistic fool how he played with no sense when he took risk's that could of jeopardised him being lead to banishment which he would of left penniless regardless. I think a better twist on the Traitor's Dilemma would have been that if all three Traitors vote to Steal, then the entire reward is split evenly between every single Faithful. Could you imagine all of the eliminated players hearing that the Traitors ultimately ruined their own game, and the Faithful's attempts paid off? Granted, this season was definitely the "Dumb Dumb" season, and I'm kinda loving how it ended, but I would have been okay watching the Traitors hand over their hard-earned winnings because they couldn't simply agree to one thing by the end of the game.

That being said, getting Sam out at the finale firepit would have given Camille and Blake a split of the money, as Sarah would have certainly wrote SHARE in her last slate. Lastly, none of the traitors deserved to win. They were fortunate to be on the season with the most confused and clueless faithfuls ever. On any other season all three (especially Sam) would have been voted out long before the finale.

    Just watched the Aussie series 2 to completion. It seemed as though it was all pre-planned. The constant of a faithful 'seeing the light' that Sam was the traitor; getting everyone on board to vote him out; calling him out at the round table (to sage nods from others); Sam then saying 'you say that.... but that's what you have done' and everyone then changing their votes against that person. C'mon. If that was real then the format is dead. Let's hope our UK version never gets so contrived/scripted. Predicted the 'goldenballs' Steal or Share scenario outcome quite early. No wonder they have pulled the plug on this version.

    Just finished watching the recent release of the Traitors Australia after binging US and UK. It was hard watching this batch of faithfuls be so horribly bad. I wondered if they got a severe producer's edit or were the players manipulated by production for each round table to go south. Because that would not happen on any reality competition show in the US. Not to that extent. The meager single win of getting Ash banished as a traitor I don't quite count. That one was spoon fed to them. Much like Annabelle and Luke handing Blake and Sam on a platter, and magically their names didn't get thrown in by the mob to at least test the theory. After a while I gave up on them. I know it's easy to speculate and get exasperated while observing from the comfort of home. Even after getting my head out of living room quarterback mode, and trying to put myself in their shoes, I'd like to think SOMETHING would click at some point. I know I would have been just as frustrated as Luke when he left.

I hear your points though that if she wanted to get to the end and win money she should’ve tried to turn on Sam earlier. But doing it this way at least gave her a safer chance at making the end.

    Faithful: Surprised Pikachu face!
    Also Faithful: So despite the fact that we were voting for Sam and because of what Sam said we voted for Player X and they turned out to be faithful and they told us Sam was the traitor we will completely fail to learn from this fact and lose all suspicion of Sam because he was not voted out, even though on one occasion he so nearly was.

She knew 100% they were all going to write steal and she did nothing to stop it. Thats what he was pissed about. For her it was literally a choice of No-one gets the money or they do. "She did nothing to stop it" Hello? Out of the 3 easily she was the most tempted to share, that's literally the reason why Blake and Sam wrote steal(cuz ye at them stoping it wasnt even an option). She shared on an earlier challange too where others were throwing money away for basically nothing. I don't think Camille's actions are anywhere near as bad as Sam's and Blake's. She was pretty much forced into this. Either that or look silly and congratulate to the ppl that slap you in the face. Also she pretty much took the L the best.
