Hi everyone! Romance d'Amour is originally played in the guitar and in fact, the guitar version that I recorded years ago (link in the video description) is my video with the most views. I decided to try how it would sound in the piano and I was happy with the result so I’m sharing it here :) I hope you enjoy!

If you were looking for a person whose father always plays this on guitar, then it's me. Since I was a baby, he plays his guitar in his room when we are all going to sleep. I recently found out the piece's name (he doesn't know it) and I am going to learn it in piano since I suck at guitar. And one day I will play for him when he goes to sleep.
Same! My dad used to pay this before he was drafted to war in Vietnam and he said he used to play this so I started learning how to play it on a guitar

My late dad played this, it was my favorite song to fall asleep to, and I never knew the name of the song. I heard the guitar version in Girl from Nowhere ep3, and now I feel like I accomplished one of my life goals.

Well, the mechanism to produce the sound is different, but the sound is similar, it sounds very loud at first and dies out quickly, like on the guitar. Also, the bass notes and even arpeggios are idiomatic on the guitar. The harpsichord, which was the predecessor of the piano, had strings that were plucked, and the sound was quite similar, although brighter.

Music is art, not science.It need emotion to play.Some day play well, some day play not as our mind. Don't trap to a little small success there's a big success waiting forward.Note is a way to find what song is no matter what the music instrument you using if you can read and play its note, you'll know what it's, even though you've never heard it before so note never lie in it that the miracle of note.

The goal is to obtain a more important sound for the theme and to have the accompaniment "lighter", to have a mezzo forte theme for example and the parts which are not the theme in piano nuance. You can lighten your way of playing with little exercises. I will try to make a video in the coming days to explain (it will be in French, sorry but maybe you can activate the subtitles and you will see the exercises to do;)). I hope I was able to help you !
