You're lucky to still be able to visit an abandoned place & not have it destroyed by vandals. Here in the US or Canada, a place abandoned for a few months is destroyed... walls broken through, carpets torn up, graffiti everywhere, plumbing removed, and the list goes on. We're so wasteful. Those abandoned items & materials could be repurposed or used by those who don't have much money. Safe travels & great video!
Unfortunately, the mansion has been announced to be removed because of the future infrastructure proposal under the Hong Kong government. The future generation no longer memoerized this such a great lengend and his achievement in the world.
You expressed your thoughts regarding Bruce lee and shock at his home being abandoned and I agree. I'm a 52 year old martial artist who was 7 when first inspired by Bruce lees attitudes and philosophy to life and the fighting arts. I'm shocked that his Hong Kong home was not preserved and utilised. A museum, training facility and theatre would be perfect ! I for one would make the trip from New Zealand to train in his old home, and perhaps watch one of his movies.
the government should have stepped in and made it a heritage site, for someone who put hong kong on the international map all theyv done is put a bronze statue up,surely he was worth more than that.

So unless I missed something, this was Bruce Lees mansion that someone turned into a hotel after he passed? Then in turn was left abandoned after the owner died. It's crazy! Very cool video!! New follower here for sure!!
I'm a Bruce Lee fan as well, and I'm shocked that the house is not fixed up and used as a major tourist site. It doesn't seem like it would take much to restore it since it's not in that bad a condition.

Man you sure have gone to some really awesomely cool places. I'd like to thank you Steve for your videos are the ones that taught me about urban exploration. I respect you very much for the respect that you and your crew show when exploring. I'm 53 years old and I love doing that kind of stuff. Man wish I could go on an exploration with you just one time. It's one of my bucket lists. But if you ever come to Tulsa,Ok. You have a spot to stay. There's oh so many places abandoned here in Tulsa. Homes, convient strores, shops, gas stations, ect. You have a Blessed day to you and yours.
Great find!! One thing I would encourage you to do is share newspaper or calendar dates whenever they are available in the abandoned places you explore, we appreciate those tidbits of information. Thanks for sharing & stay safe!!
$100 million for that place? hmmmmm ok???? Unreal!! Even if you take out the nasty brothel furniture etc... that was left behind and just look at the architecture and somewhat landscape around it don't see how anyone would price that place at $100MIL once belonged to Bruce Lee or not!!! No way!
Exploring With Steve Thanks for your reply and I "get it" that homes such as that in a country like Hong Kong would be extremely expensive but at the same time .. it's just hard to fathom cause there's not much to a home like that whether it be Bruce Lee who resided there or a bag lady off the streets. Even 1 million is just way too much for such dwellings but I guess coming from the western mind it's just hard to grasp. I've seen way more beautiful homes in Hong Kong advertised in Architectural Digest before and they sold for less the a MIL. Guess it really just gets down to the fact that B. Lee once lived there and called it home?? Very interesting all the way around from the vid you did which by the way you did an excellent job on to the subject matter. There will never be another Bruce Lee!! R.I.P. King of Martial Arts. Peace and Love to all!
Exploring With Steve P.S. - Would be awesome of Linda Lee would take a trip back there to their old home there in Hong Kong and do a short documentary kind of like what you did and let everyone know what each room was used for etc... and show comparison pictures side by side of the rooms the way they looked while they lived there and what it looks like now. I'm just really flabbergasted and sad to know that the house is just sitting there with no one living in it and has been let go. Yes it would be great if the town would turn it into a museum. They should have done that not long after Bruce died! Again, thanks for your wonderful videos. Keep up the great work you do! :)

No disrespect but I use to oversee the professional cleaning of old mostly abandoned properties bound for resale, I've never in ten years seen a place abandoned near that length of time without any cobwebs, are you sure no one had been coming in and cleaning there ? Spiders I've learned they get everywhere they leave webs, I can almost promise you there is one within six feet of you wherever you may be sitting right now and I saw not one cobweb that is so weird if no one has been cleaning there that is spooky or magic. Maybe they not have as many spiders there in Hong Kong you think ? I know this so well as I'm terrified of spiders, I will not sleep except under mosquito netting that is how much spiders creep me out, cool posting you interesting man Steve may good luck be with you.
+Julia Winkler not only that, somebody's been living in that house rather recently. if you notice the tv's those are not tv's from the early 1970's more like the 90's. I'm calling raspberries on this one
Craig Thomas Yeah I noticed that later also in the 70s they had these huge backs that protruded outward and you cannot find flat screens till late in the 90s... That is true.
It's crazy to think how someone with so much inspiration given all around the world like Bruce Lee could pass away like that. The dude was like in such good shape and health. We all need to appreciate his life and accommodations he gave to the entertainment world before his passing. RIP Bruce Lee.
Yes and I respect your opinion just as much as you respect mine. But Bruce Lee was a beloved actor/martial artist back in the day. I don't obviously see as to how the mafia could've threatened him for whatever reason they could've had against him. I mean he was a top martial artist! He knew how to defend himself. And by the way he died from an allergic reaction due to a medication given to him prior to a headache before he went to sleep forever...
Oh well whatever happened back then happened back then. There is nothing we can do anything about it today. Let's just let Bruce Lee rest in peace from all of the conspiracy theories and move on from that. I know that's what he would've wanted.
Thank you for doing this, best one ever! It's so very sad to see what has become of his home. It's to bad the guy that bought it didn't get the chance to realize his vision for it. Bruce Lee was someone special...much respect.
Freaking!!! Awesome!!! You are so fortunate to have walked where THE GREAT MAN once walked!! You are right, I would've thought it would be a memorial. 😯
Absolutely gorgeous Bruce Lee's Hong Kong mansion, thank you for sharing with us, Steve. Bruce Lee is my biggest idol and I've been a huge fan since 1982!
No $hit brother. I'm envying you, Steve. I'd just be happy taking some snapshots of the outside. Knowing Bruce Lee and his family once called there, their home. Crazy. Too bad that no one was able to make that place a Memorial. Pretty cool Steve. Thanks for the video. "Cheers!"
Jack Hammer I thought the place was just too clean looking if you notice you can see how shiny the tables in the house is it's too clean so it's clear that the place has just then recently vacated!
If the place was supposed to be abandoned then why does everything seem new and doesn't have any dust at all ?? Are you sure that is his house it doesn't seem like it ??
Great video. I went to Hong Kong in 1999 and went to the house on Nathan Lane. I had heard it was a motel for afternoon trysts. My wife went with me, and I just walked in like I owned the place and walked around. If a door was open I peeked in. They finally asked us to leave.....nicely. But I got to go into Bruce's old home. The parking area in the front would conceal all the business mens cars so no one could read the license plates. They would pull a large curtain across the back of the cars as soon as one would park. Funny how nobody complained about it in the middle of a neighborhood. Thanks again for the video.
i love BRUCE LEE too. im 68years young and can`t get enough of him ( THE MASTER) . i can`t under stand why the people of hong kong would let this happen to a good man like him.
Bruce and Brandon were my idols too. I was obsessed with learning their styles, studying every move until I could pull them off. That was from 1989-2003. Then I stopped practicing trading in my spring ups, backflips, kicks & punches for alcohol. Sucks. That feels like a lifetime ago. Everyone knew me for my ability to fight using much of what I learned from The Lee’s including Shannon and Ip Man. At 37 I’m still a fan, wondering how I can get back into it to help me recover my balance & dexterity after suffering 5 strokes due to a case of meningitis that went left untreated for a month. Luckily just 10 months later (after a month in ICU and rigorous cognitive & physical therapy 5 days a week) I’m pretty much back to normal.
I am fan of burce Lee but I just love watching his movies and interviews he is such a humble person and down-to-earth person keep remembering him he such a legend
so heartbreaking to see what it had become... where Bruce Lee once lived... i appreciated your hard work and effort, love all your videos. and i can see how your sweating so much but still kept going ! well done to you :) will keep on supportingg :) x
Hey Steve, I didn't read the other comments, but the calendar behind you at the end of the video had 2015 on it. The rooms were too clean and the water in cups, and pitchers should have been dried out. I do like your videos. You pan slowly, some others pan so quickly, you can't really see much. Keep up the good work. I'm subscribed. I used to do this when it wasn't a big deal. There was no such thing as urban explorers, only nosy kids, and trespassers.
Hey steve I liked your video about bruce lees mansion I am a big bruce lee fan myself that is just one of his houses he probably had more than one don't you think
I loved both Bruce & Brandon Lee. To see their house in disrepair is beyond saddening to see, it goes to show how kids today do not care for the things that have passed...
Thanks for the video man, i tried to get a glimpse at his house when i was in HK back in 2001 but my ex colleague didn't want to bring me. I was around the area at that time. So close yet so far. Appreciate your video!
Sooo sad to see the disrepair that has bestowed this once beautiful property 😔 Too bad that this property couldn’t have been restored! Why couldn’t the family take over this house & keep it in the family 😔Thank you Steve for showing us this once beautiful property!
I can't believe some of the comments.Click on the link and there is a great article on it. The house was IN USE as a Love Hotel right after he died. It was still in use last year. The rooms were rented by the hour. People talking about how water wouldn't still be there since Bruce died. I'm sure the widescreen TV was left by Bruce along with the water. There is a 2015 calender up for a start. The house has changed a lot since Bruce and his family lived there. It was more open plan and didn't have all those bedrooms. As for the dog that people mention. I'm afraid that wasn't his. He loved animals but the family dog was a Great Dane named Bobo.. I am sure the German Shepherd was safe though. Bruces first dog was a German Shepherd. The other point that some people seem confused by is that 100 million dollars is Hong Kong dollars and not US. It's under 13 million US dollars which is a good price for Hong Kong.
Some people felt some type of way to allow Bruce Lee home to become a brothel and abandoned. The Bruce Lee story said some Chinese elders were pissed about him teaching Martial Arts to foreigners. Well with that said I love Bruce Lee and his teachings. He will never be forgotten! Thank you for sharing Steve.
Totally right. A lot if not many things in there are new. Bruce's stuff would be long gone. But if one looked closely, I'm sure they could find a few of Bruce's things.
Yeah! I think so too! I'm sure his family took most of the stuff but left some stuff behind! I think it's sad his son died too! Legends! both of them!! SAD!
john doe We'll unfortunately never know the truth, but those were definitely suspicious circumstances. With the psychotic powers that be in charge who have killed many people they deem threatening to their power, the possibility definitely exists.
why did this make me cry? I loved him his movies his philosophies, I avoided this video for a while but just had to take a deep breath and watch. I wish I had the money I would buy it and turn it into an orphanage in honor of Mr. Lee.
What a waste, Bruce lee is such an iconic figure. His home could be use as a historic site
L. Phung we should just be lucky this place wasn't left in the US or the UK otherwise it would have been burnt and graffed to death.

Great find!! One thing I would encourage you to do is share newspaper or calendar dates whenever they are available in the abandoned places you explore, we appreciate those tidbits of information. Thanks for sharing & stay safe!!
Omg, the dog....that is so heart breaking...😢
I was waiting to hear "Luke, I am your father"... lol
No way!
+EmeraldJade66 100mil Hong kong Dollars its equivalent to 13million. In Hong Kong places like this are very expensive
+EmeraldJade66 100mil Hong kong Dollars its equivalent to 13million. In Hong Kong places like this are very expensive
Home measuring 10ft by 8ft goes on sale for £90,000That is over $111,000 !!!!

That should be a museum cos he was an iconic figure. Never be another like him. Hope he is resting in peace xxx great vid Steve
I heard Bruce really ADORED that dog and apparently rescued the dog from the streets and adopted him. Thats something Bruce Lee would do 😇
Got featured on the DailyMail :) you can read the article here www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3877508/Urban-explorer-opens-window-Bruce-Lee-s-former-Hong-Kong-mansion.html#comments-3877508
Never take your eyes off your opponent even when you bow Bruce Lee quote
+Julia Winkler not only that, somebody's been living in that house rather recently. if you notice the tv's those are not tv's from the early 1970's more like the 90's. I'm calling raspberries on this one
Craig Thomas
Yeah I noticed that later also in the 70s they had these huge backs that protruded outward and you cannot find flat screens till late in the 90s... That is true.
Craig Thomas also the Ac remote has batteries. Can't be working since 1970s
It's crazy to think how someone with so much inspiration given all around the world like Bruce Lee could pass away like that. The dude was like in such good shape and health. We all need to appreciate his life and accommodations he gave to the entertainment world before his passing. RIP Bruce Lee.
Well said Invictus...
What would anyone gain from murdering them? Bruce Lee died from natural causes and his son Brandon Lee did die in a freak accident unfortunately.
You as well. Bruce Lee will live on forever in our memories and hearts. And if he was murdered those responsible will face justice one way or another.
"Cheers!"
Thank you Kenny! Glad you understand why I had to make this video! really happy to hear you enjoyed it as a Bruce lee fan
I loved Bruce Lee and still do ❤️
Dang even though Bruce Lee passed away before I was even born I would've loved to meet him.
Anna McDermott Abandoned military base on my channel, appreciate a view and like and hey, maybe a sub! Thanks in advance.
12:15 there is a calendar that says may 2015
o sheet
i guess someone who traveled the house left it as a mark that they traveled on that date :P
Jack Hammer I thought the place was just too clean looking if you notice you can see how shiny the tables in the house is it's too clean so it's clear that the place has just then recently vacated!
oh really.
watch the video again and listen to what he says
Great video guys. I am saddened to see what happened to his mansion. He was one of my favorite people. Thanks so much for sharing.
That's just really sad how they can abandon such a great historic place. I, myself is a big fan of Bruce and seeing this it pretty disappoints me.
4:48 sounds like Darth Vader is behind you. Interesting to see the house though.
eSysman I
None of this shit is from the time of bruce lee, it would've looked more old and vintage its very clear
don alya from the tvs and the water. how old is this supposed to be?
probably 15-20 years
don alya actually those beds are from the 70s actually as well as the Tv FYI he had what YOU did not he had money duh!!
Did you not read ?..The House was sold to a Brothel owner that died in 2015, You are correct tho..the TV's are no more then 10 yrs old..
don alya that's because the 92 year old guy tried to fix some of the house and outside a bit that's why it doesn't look as old
Wow amazing video , I my self is a big fan of Bruce lee , that must of been one amazing experience , I'm surprised they didn't make the into a museum
GabrielKicks23 Exactly, or Like Elvis Presley's Gracelands where fans and tourists from all around the world can come and see it.
I was just going to post like Elvis
Thank you, I love Bruce lee and I’m shocked that his old house is abandoned! I thought it may have been a museum open to the public
This video is gold. Good you captured it while you could it might not last much longer.
Thankyou for showing respect for the Master.
If I didn't know, I would've thought Darth Vader was giving the tour! That heavy breathing distracts me.
If the place was supposed to be abandoned then why does everything seem new and doesn't have any dust at all ?? Are you sure that is his house it doesn't seem like it ??
+Sawako Park he used to live there..it was made into a brothel 2 years later after Bruce lee died...the brothel then was abandoned in 2015.
Exploring With Steve Ok sorry about that you are awesome!!!! Have you been to Korea??
Exploring With Steve woah really!?! Did that place feel a bit creepy when you were there?
Pretty girl I wish I was I don't think people pay attention anymore it was used as a whore house after
How was the lineup of girls? Hehe any pretties?
Great video. I went to Hong Kong in 1999 and went to the house on Nathan Lane. I had heard it was a motel for afternoon trysts. My wife went with me, and I just walked in like I owned the place and walked around. If a door was open I peeked in. They finally asked us to leave.....nicely. But I got to go into Bruce's old home. The parking area in the front would conceal all the business mens cars so no one could read the license plates. They would pull a large curtain across the back of the cars as soon as one would park. Funny how nobody complained about it in the middle of a neighborhood. Thanks again for the video.
No dust or cobwebs in sight. Strange. Somebody must be occasionally keeping an eye on the place and cleaning it.
Why does the calender say may 5th 2015
nevermind the owner died in 2015. he makes it sound like it's been abandon since bruce lee died
Those televisions are clearly from the 90's or early 2000's.
well the person that owned the property was 90+ years old so im sure he really didnt care 2 shits about the newest model of televisions lol
The home was sold by the Lee estate after he died...the "New Owner" died in 2015
the sound of you breathing thru the mask is somewhat annoying.....
totally
Don't die
I kinda liked it
Dar Adamski The comment you typed about the breathing through his mask is somewhat annoying.
I'm sure it is to you but I assure you I don't think I care too much about it Mr. Invictus?
The house is in no way worth $100 million.
not in dollars in the Chinese yen.
Oh, okay. He shouldn't use the dollar sign then. It's misleading.
Mark Johnson fair enough
dont listen to him lols, its hong kong dollars
dont listen to him lols, its hong kong dollars
what a challenge! absolutely loved the video pal
I too have always liked Bruce Lee. Thanks for sharing the tour of his mansion with everyone. It was really interesting and you did a great job.
The Darth Vader Breathing annoyed me to no end.

Ajo Obrien One of the rules of urbexing, i guess
Exploring With Steve I love theses adventures in the abandoned places😜😜It's awesome!!!!😄😄😆😆
i love BRUCE LEE too. im 68years young and can`t get enough of him ( THE MASTER) . i can`t under stand why the people of hong kong would let this happen to a good man like him.
The mansion has a lot of bedrooms and full bathrooms. wow! Thx for uploading. Rest in peace, Bruce. ❤👏
Great video! Love it! Thank you very much for sharing the Bruce Lee Mansion!
great video guy the beginning of your video your words to describe Bruce Lee very moving & so true.
Well judging by your youtube name I think it's safe to say you're a immature little turd.
THE Gaming BOSS wew you're a fat drunk
your thinking of Elvis
that's very sad his house was left in such a shape.
Love your videos but THE BREATHING INTO THE MIC IS SO ANNOYING
Steve, you use such great equipment including sound and lighting! It makes so much difference! Thanks! 🌹🌹🌹
It's kind of messed up that they would make a hotel out of Bruce Lee's house he was so inspirational
I am fan of burce Lee but I just love watching his movies and interviews he is such a humble person and down-to-earth person keep remembering him he such a legend
Only one thing i should say to y'all; do you even understand anything he has explained?
Kyungsoo Im when korean try to understand
so heartbreaking to see what it had become... where Bruce Lee once lived...
i appreciated your hard work and effort, love all your videos. and i can see how your sweating so much but still kept going ! well done to you :) will keep on supportingg :) x
They should of kept it and make it into a museum, like what they did with Elvis Presley's house.
How did the lights turn on?
I'm glad you did it. I love Bruce Lee, as a child looking at his movies there was nothing better.
be like water 😇 as much as i love abandoned places its a real shame to let this one decline ☹ rip the man the myth 😇
BEAUTIFUL....SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL.....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much! Im glad you enjoyed watching!
Will be looking forward to upcoming explorations....
Sooo sad to see the disrepair that has bestowed this once beautiful property 😔 Too bad that this property couldn’t have been restored! Why couldn’t the family take over this house & keep it in the family 😔Thank you Steve for showing us this once beautiful property!
Cool video- the taller guy looks like he's ready to be a supporting character in a mission impossible movie.
9:35 THERES DARTH VADER YOU CAN HEAR HIM :/
Damn how do you find these places
Google
Brian Franklin pornhub
Lol
Thank you Paul! Glad you understand..I cant believe some of the comments too -.-;;
Some people felt some type of way to allow Bruce Lee home to become a brothel and abandoned. The Bruce Lee story said some Chinese elders were pissed about him teaching Martial Arts to foreigners. Well with that said I love Bruce Lee and his teachings. He will never be forgotten! Thank you for sharing Steve.
An Amazing job. I also loved Mr. Lee. I hope to visit his place one day . Thanks so much !
WHY TF WAS HE BREATHING SO HARD
Darth Vader
Because of the mask covering the nose
I'm thinking that all this stuff was left behind from when it was a brothel! Not Bruce Lee's stuff!
SAD!
True
john doe We'll unfortunately never know the truth, but those were definitely suspicious circumstances. With the psychotic powers that be in charge who have killed many people they deem threatening to their power, the possibility definitely exists.
it made me cry, yea we all loved him.. l was shocked thank you it was beautiful.
why did this make me cry? I loved him his movies his philosophies, I avoided this video for a while but just had to take a deep breath and watch. I wish I had the money I would buy it and turn it into an orphanage in honor of Mr. Lee.
sadly the house was demolished today.
