- Finally, a system with mechanical horns! As some of you may have figured out, I'm Canadian, and mechanical horns are super rare up here. This was at a vacant office building, and the whole building has been gutted. System is mostly conventional, but there's addressable smoke detectors for elevator recall (shaft, machine room and lobbies). All horns are Edwards 885D. Hope you enjoy!

Bro shoved a stick in an office building sized wasp nest ☠️
Real 💀
The different horn types are harmonizing with each other and making some angelic noise tf
LOUD and finially some mech horns u need see a 4002 with 4903 9101s and 9838s that's straight up heaven there
ANGRY HORNS 😈
I went to a school that had Wheelock NH horns on 4903-9101 strobe plates. It looked awesome.
Can’t get enough Edwards in canada apparently. I will admit that adaptahorns seem like they’re very effective and the sound seems like it travels through walls easy as you can easily hear multiple horns from any angle/location.
My God, were these loud. This was, by far, the loudest system I've ever tested. I always wear hearing protection during these inspections, and I took it off for one second, and I think I almost went deaf lmao.
LLLOOUUUDDD!!!!!
That last horn sounds really healthy
2:07 The narrow windows give off original World Trade Center vibes
They really do remind me of 9219s.
Yeah they sound kind of similar.
I didn’t know that you inspected systems from the Backrooms
You haven't seen anything yet. Some stuff I have coming up is this but on steroids.
I have one of those horns, except it’s missing the mounting bracket
first one sounds like a chainsaw
Awesome!
Twoplyboy once tested a school fire alarm system that had these adaptahorns running on code 3. Did you know that?
Yeah they did code 3 was so bad 😫
Surprised they left power on since the place is abandoned
"Vacant" would be the best way to describe it. I was half asleep when I wrote that description lol
@@Twentythree33 sound like river to me
I could tell that there was more than just horns. I heard some form of siren tone voice evac, and I also heard and saw an integrity.
Nah it's just the horns here. I'm in Canada, and our codes state that you can't mix voice evac and horns together.
As for the Integrity, there's none here that I know of. Could you tell me the time in the video where it is?
Imagine EST Genesis speakers and Gentex SHGs going off at the same time
It's the exact opposite where I live because I'm in America
@@Twentythree334:05 to 4:10. I see a strobe flash on the floor and I hard a code 3 integrity.
There was a System Sensor S2415A remote strobe in the lobby, which is the flashing you saw.
theres a system near me with mech horns and evac@@Twentythree33
1:56 what else do I hear besides the edwards horns? Sounds like... sirens?
It's just the horns in this building. Could've been a fire truck or something driving by.
Oh you right. With all those horns blowing they kinda sound like something else.
Was the panel hooked up to a dialer
Yes, the system was fully monitored. Pretty sure it was a DSC
Was there a strobe flashing near the end?
Yes there was. System Sensor S2415A
I'm Mexican American
