I actually hope they're just 4 player lobbies, and the difficulty is appropriate for level 35 Pokemon. I really wish they'd just answer two questions: particle cost, and player lobby size.
Hoping it's 4 max as well as that'd be a great indicator to the difficulty of them. T5 raids recommending 20 can be done in most cases by 10% of the recommended amount gives me hope 😅 In that case, it'll feel real similar to mainline series in a sense.
NZ reports yes 4 players only but raid is not difficult ... there is a video posted of a raid, 4 decent trainers beat it easily in 4 dynamax rounds. very limited "special attacks" ie three lines over Mon head ... which is very low IMHO. so maybe nerfed for this first event
Correction, D-max Toxtricity was tier 4, while pretty sure all G-max so far was tier 6., and both cost 800, so not expecting legendary to cost any more. But also expecting legendary to be tier 5, so, yeah, maybe they do up the player count. Will find out in a few hours when it goes live in New Zealand. What I am hoping for is that when they're spawning during the week, I'm hoping it'll be the same as any other D-max battle and stay in one spot for 3 days, giving us time to coordinate with other players when we find a spot that has one.
@Dethneko Yes 100%, best chance to be able to coordinate then. We used to do it so easily before for general raids pre covid so should be easy enough now
Its a shame these raid days are on Monday nights. As someone with a job & family i can't just walk away & drive 20 minutes to where my friends play to battle. Remote raiding is such a vital part of why people are able to play & disregarding it for this content is confusing to say the least
It is a shame. its good that articuno and the other 2 birds would be appearing for a week at various spots, but its a lot less concentrated and organized than what max Monday would be.
This comment was dropped before they announced the news of shadow raids being remotable for a short period of time, perhaps they'll look at something like this down the track. As much as I disagree with it, I do like that it's making it more accessible for a wider range of players. But one week to get after Arti, hopefully they won't be as difficult as some are assuming and will be easy to round up a couple numbers
@Tagman50 true it definitely was posted before the remote option. Too long has the game essentially catered to city / highly populated areas or spoofers leaving what I can only presume is the majority of players with a subpar experience. Mobile games at there core are supposed to be more accessible but the real life element has made pokemon go in an odd place being both on every device but still unplayable simply because of where you live not fitting the Niantic design model
@@Tagman50 First legendary raid I did was *the* Lugia in Sylvia Park. It was a crazy logjam. Lobbies filling up almost as fast as people could enter. Good times!
@Tagman50 Dynamax Articuno raids. Cost 800 particles, max trainers is four. Was like Dynamax Toxtricity in difficulty. Three well-prepared accounts can win comfortably. #pokemonGo #pokemongo #dynamax #articuno

Thanks for the update. Definitely great things to consider planning and can't wait to see your first look when Monday comes.
Always looking forward to new challenges in this game, keeps things real interesting 😅
Dynamax Toxtricity was a 5-star D-max battle costing 800 with a max lobby size of 4. Based on everything I've seen so far, this is what I'm expecting.
What were expecting too, while also expecting the unexpected when it comes to this game 😅 Half hour to go and we'll know all about it 💪

The beard coming back quick brother 😂

Similar boat mate.

We just gotta do some mushroom trips and get that buff
Tier 4 & 6 use 800 particles. 5 should be 800 as well.
100%, makes perfect sense
Anybody know what the odds of finding a shiny one will be?
1 in 20 shiny rate is what's expected.
I’d prefer a 4 man limit. That means it’s beatable.
Yes 100% what I'm hoping too. Even a possible duo then at that point best case scenario
Raids = 2017 first was lugia / articuno being go fest 2017.
Thanks bro, I probably could've Googled it but nah 🤣

Aotearoa/ New Zealand beta-testers get to find out first...
Good luck trainers!
Good luck brother :)
