    This is great. I see why my hair has been breaking in weaves. How often would you recommend your clients shampoo and deep condition their hair while they’re in a protective style?

      Thanks. Every two weeks is recommended.

      @@SimplyTamika Thank you :) How long should you leave your braids in? Before i use to be so proud i can leave in cornrows under different wigs for 4 months. Then a hair stylist told me thats not good and thins out your hair.. What is the max time in your opinion?

    Can I do all straight back cornrows to do a closure sew in? I have a low hairline so any side type cornrows aren’t good for me

    8:33 can the weave be kept in for 4-6 months? Or do I need to use a different braiding pattern for it to stay in that long?

    • @SimplyTamika
      @SimplyTamika  Год назад +7

      You should never leave a weave in for 4-6 months. I only recommy2 months. The hair starts matting and tangling the longer you leave it in.

      @@SimplyTamika Thank you for the fast feedback. I'll be abroad for the next 6 months so maybe a weave isn't the best option then because I don't know if I'll find a good stylist to redo my weave. Maybe just box braids because those I can redo myself. Thanks for replying 🤗❤️🙏🏾

      @@authenticityiskey3078 why don’t you just use a v part wig? You can still wash, deep condition, detangle, and moisturize your hair. Just braid your hair, after you moisturize it, and put it under the v part. You don’t have to cornrow. You can put your hair in single braids and clip up under the wig

      @@bmore1991 Thank you for the tip but I was looking for something more secure like a sew in. Or maybe ill get a v-part and sew it in. I'll have to participate in outdoorsy-things and sports so I'll need that security. 💕🙏🏾

    You spent 3 min blow drying on section. I’ll stick with a regular blow dryer

      Low porosity hair takes longer to dry. I have used the RevAir on other hair types which took only 15 seconds to dry.
