KEY TIPS FOR BRAIDING LONG THICK HAIR:
- create small partings
- use braiding (extensions) hair on perimeter IF you are doing a sewin (don't cause extra tension on hairline)
- constantly refine desired part to ensure proper alignment
- part hair to reach nape (if braid don't reach the nape continue until the next braid does)
- do not braid hair all the way down to avoid lumps in the braid pattern
- leave hair unfinished braiding so you can evenly divide hair in the next braid once you are ready to connect
- section hair and make large twist to avoid overwhelmingness, working on a section at a time
- detangle every section, as well as work on BLOWN OUT hair

to braid down my Sisterlocks
Helppppppp
how do you get your parting so straight? and know like how big to do a braid i find i struggle with that a lot
straight parting comes with practice, continue to adjustment your part and try to make it as straight, or curved straight as possible (especially after each braid). It's better to make the braid too small than too big to avoid lumps and bulkiness.
Thank you this is my head of hair twin. I can never get it flat.
