Hello from America 🇺🇸 I discovered Tina Arena in 2015 randomly and I thank God I did.... But what shocked me that I saw 3 USA cities on her world tour list like "omg she got fans here" 😳 😊
OMG, I can't. When pop singers pretend to be authors, who have written something so profound that it will naturally change the world (sorry, she is giving me these kind of vibes in this interview)🙄🙄🙄
But they are storytellers who have 3-minutes or so to capture the experience unlike authors who do it in 200+ pages. Song writing isn’t a simple process, there is always a plot, a journey to take the listener on. In both cases they are passionate in sharing their story with the hope it’s relatable and believable to others.
@@thedoogles song writing is just not on the same Level. You might argue that simplifying is an Art form in itself, especially since it appeals to a wider range of people, but the amount of work and quality ususlly differs a lot. Maybe I am just critical because I don't think the lyrics are very good. I find them quite blant and cliché tbh. But props to her for creating lyrics and investing energy and soul to be a singer-songwriter.
@@marcelredplanet3765 Frankly, I find her pretentious and an absolute intellectual lightweight. I believe she has a chip on her shoulder about her minimal secondary education, so out come the pretentious speech and errghh... the 'intellectual' reading glasses. She puts on the diction, has small vocabulary when you truly listen. and her grammar is ordinary at best. As for her lyrics? Unsophisticated, just like her
