I was at the world premiere of this film as part of a press junket. I had a chance to meet and speak with the cast. Reeves is shy. Weisz was unbelievably beautiful in person. This was back when I was interesting.
That’s super cool that you got to meet them. The closest I ever got to meeting Keanu was that I went to the baskin robbins in Alameda (where they took the picture of him eating ice cream) a day or so before he did. Funny thing is that the reason Peter Stormare's Lucifer said "I Need a Vacation" is because he's referencing the comic that inspired Tom Ellis's portrayal in the tv series "Lucifer". Constantine was from DC's more mature-themed Vertigo Comics before getting rolled into the main DC canon in one of their big reboot events. He's also meant to be British, with his appearance based on Sting.
Even though the look and nationality of Constantine differ from the source, this is still a really fun movie, one of Keanu's best in my opinion.
