Mia and Me evokes a strange feeling of nostalgia in me, now that im older im really able to see and appreaciate how beautiful and well done this show is. My heart melts everytime when i hear the intro.. I have so many lovely memories attached to it, playing Mia and Me characters with my friends in kindergarten, i even owned the dolls. This show is just so.. unique, from the design to the characters just EVERYTHING. I cant put it in words. Im sure so many other kids felt weirdly drawn to this show. Its kind of sad that so many people forget about it.. i think this show had so many wasted potential, they could have added more complex lore etc., even if its just supposed little kids. But i think that means nothing, take miracoulous for example.
The opening of the first season really evokes nostalgia, it was very pleasant to watch. the season 2 opening was the most beautiful, in my opinion. However, the openings of seasons 3 and 4 were the least worst thing about these seasons, honestly, in the fourth season there is a very ridiculous scene where the poneycorns are hitting an enemy dragon, and the dragon just lets them hit him, like a mazoquist, only after a while does it go away. @@allylavender7156 Yes, the seasons are bad, the script is totally on the side of the elves and doesn't give the villains a chance. rixel, dax and gargona were much more powerful than the elves, but the script doesn't like the villains and always makes them easily defeated😭😭😭 at least in the third season we had the night plant, which made the season less boring and was the one that came closest to defeating the elves.
True and worst part of all is I guess that they also changed voice actors of mo Yuko and phuddle they all sounded different it was like I was not was Watching the same cartoon anymore

In the real world, Mia reads runic words in Elvish from her book that her late parents left her as the crystal in her bracelet grows light and the magic transports her to the island of Centopia. Before flying through the portal, Mia transforms into a winged elf and her hair and outfits are changed, and then she is in that wonderful world of dragons, elves, pans, and unicorns. There, she meets up with her friends; the elves, Prince Mo and Yuko, the funny pan Phuddle, and the winged unicorn Onchao. They are always ready for action, adventure and excitement together. Centopia is ruled justly and wisely by Mo's parents, King Raynor and Queen Mayla. Most of the times they battle the forces of evil that threaten the land and innocent creatures. Mia, Onchao, Mo, and Yuko just put their heads together. In the end, they always triumph against their enemies and win. After solving riddles of the oracle in Mia's book she memorized and saving the day, Mia gets transported back to Earth in her human form and finds an illustration in the page of the book, and knows her mission was successful. She cannot wait for her next adventure in another day. I wish I was there too, even in the form of an elf. I love it.

The darker themes about unicorn getting their horns cut and war and stuff was so new and awsome to me this show stuck to my head and I have a soft spot for it til this day. How much better Rosabell acted the beginning of the intro than Margot. I will never understand what Rosabelle was thinking when she quit the role after the second season. I read that it was due to schooling. But I still think that in this day and age it's not worth the price when you consider that she still had a major role in a popular cartoon. I would understand if she gave up some role that is only mentioned in one season, but this way I don't understand.
