Nice haul Brian, especially the saws and planes all with almost excellent timber, beautiful… 👍🏻 Finally fettled my ‘4’ today and very pleased with it, the blade was virtually unused and sharpened up perfectly and easily… 🔪 Thanks again for sharing, cheers, Rog… 🐍
Wow - beautiful tools!! All of the wood components are in such wonderful condition! These tools would, without a doubt, cost a premium here in America. ( I have a full cup of coffee while watching ). Cool little boxes to store bits in and that tool role was a great find!
@@MattsGarage1791 Hello Matt I was just lucky on the night of the auction. Most of the items would usually command higher prices. I enjoy my coffee too. Thanks for watching, Brian
Great haul ‼️new American subscriber here. Could you translate the prices to US dollars? The Millers Falls plane is a great score. I consider those of the time era, of the one you have, to be a close or equal to Stanley.
@@jimzeidler3829 Hi Jim, thanks for watching and subscribing £21 is just over $26 dollars. The Millers Falls plane is pretty immaculate. I'll likely hang on to it. Cheers, Brian
You're welcome, Brian @brithesaw . That's a fantastic deal! The Millers Falls is a great plane and in my opinion, 2nd only to Stanley, during their hay day. I have 2 M.F., No.4 size, one wartime production and the other a type 1. Have a few others that are branded Craftsman and Dunlap that were made by M.F. that are decent as well 🤠
Nice haul Brian. The Marples plane and saw are exceptional. I think you will soon need a bigger shed. Ed
@@NEDNBA51 thanks for watching. I'd like a huge shed, maybe one day.
Brian
Enjoyed the long video. For me, the first prize would have been the back saw.
Having said that, if you decide to part with the Marples plane…
@@troon5488 Morning,
The little Marples plane is in remarkable condition.
The Saw is great it just needs a little bit of timber.

@@Venomator. Thanks,
it was one of my better hauls.
Enjoy that number 4.
Thanks for sharing. I'm envious of what you can buy. In rural Australia rarely see much and way dearer if you do. Keep up the good work
@@robjackson3323 Cheers Rob,
Keep searching some treasure will turn up.
