I never understood why Murray did the rear section the way they did. IF, you squint, it's almost like they reached the end of the design phase and said, eh, screw the rear end, what's the point. Because otherwise, it's a neato starting frame. Had a fellow in the south of France that decommissioned a small amusement park that had a bunch of these and i got for free, three and a half (cause rust) frames and bits and bobs. Like i said, solid starting frame for all sorts of projects.

I think on the steering shaft I would went with a semi bigger bushing and you got a got a nylon insert that would have made the steering a little bit better in the long run because I didn't see any grease certs and that still would have been kind of tough after a while but other than that the cart looks great

If you're like me and like to tack/weld stuff without interference do yourself a favor (trust me on this) and get the highest SPF sun lotion you can buy and slather your hands in it. Got a super nasty burn from welding a few months ago and the skin was flaking off me in days.

Really love your videos def a fan and have helped me out with my go kart / mini bike /scooter but as myself being a welder I see u have ya hood on and ya grinding sheild but where are ur gloves redbeardu are a rile model for our youth at least tell them they should wear gloves in till they gain the experience

Still a few things you could have done better put a single race seat in it so it's more comfortable and you don't slide and I would have put the pedals a little closer together but overall good job

why live axle? IT slows it way down and costs a arm and a leg more in parts. I can build a go kart for about the same price as a live axle kit and I clocked it at 45.mph
