you can also try to use steam controller compatibility i don't think its called that but if you add a non steam game look for lunar or whatever you use connect your controller and then go to big picture mode and click lunar then click shortcut options then you can map your contrroller when ur done click save and play its not a detailed explanation but i hope it helps
